[Resolved]  Genpact — Termination

Hello Sir/Madam,

This is Saraswathi Worked with Dell for 6 years and joined Genpact BPO( located in hitech city).
It was a new process which is a pilot process all together.

Took the training for 3 months and started taking calls.

there was a new process call CA* computer associates**.This new process went back.

Prior which few of the employees in genpact got CA escalation mails staing that the call went wrong.

Usually any company gives feedbacks or warnings .

Genpact did not give me any feed backs.

They keep saying that the CA client which is a project for Genpact told to remove employees.
I was terminated.

Please let me know what needs to be done.

I, Chotu Lal Gurjar with OHR Id no [protected](Employee code-369303) am working with India’s no. 1 BPO, Genpact, Jaipur, Rajasthan in Uninor Process as a process associate.
I am working in your establishment since Feb 2010 in CUSTOMER SERVICE INBOND CALL ANSWER DEPT. and since last one & half years I have problem of headache due to receiving calls for very long time.
Although I was suffering from headache but I never denied being on my work and I worked 8 hours daily without any brake for continuously. Some time due to that headache used to take painkiller tablets for doing my work without any disturbance in given task.
For getting proper treatment of my disease I got the checkup in Neurology department in RAJASTHAN’s largest hospital SMS HOSPITAL JAIPUR and all the documents of the treatment and my problem I shown to our HR/ Sr. HR also and informed them about my problem.
After all they again pressurize me to take the calls of customer and told that you are perfectly ok and there is no abnormality in your reports.
During the work I got the ranking of “9EE” and in this july I was supposed to get promotion from P.A. to P.D. and manager of my branch was very well aware about it. I informed Sr. HR Mr. Kapil Gupta more than 5times for my problem but it was not being taken as a problem it was taken only as a gossip thing. No one in the company helped me for this. I also talked with HR Laxmipriya for more than 10times but but she also didn’t respond me properly.
They forced me to attend the calls so that they can do my termination if I found wrong while taking calls due to my illness as I was having pain in my head from very long time.
On 23rd of July due to a casual word while attending customer’s call they forced me to sign on the termination letter.
Here I would like to bring a notice to you for your kind notification that if in process you are going with some abusive language so you should give your resign from existing job but you can’t be terminated from your on hand job.
I accept that I am on mistaken side but this is not a big mistake, I admit for this and I think that my mistake should be consider under CAP or Warning but my manager and HR took it as Genpact’s ZTP,Policy.
So I need help from all of you, the higher authorities. I would request to please look into the matter and do the justice with me and I hope that it won’t be repeated with anyone else in future.
By doing this unfair act they destroyed my experience and it was became 0years experience from 3 years of hard and dedicated work. They terminated me without any prior notice so now I became like a beggar and now I can’t join any BPO in INDIA. Doing work with Genpact was my dream and I fulfilled my dream by working in this for almost three years but now this termination ruined it very badly.
My parents got died when I was only 11years old and after their death I took the responsibility on my shoulders and I gave good atmosphere to being grown up to my younger sister who was my responsibility after my parents sudden death.
After completing my education I did join Genpact and I was the only earner of my family and my sister’s dependability for education and marriage is on my shoulders now as I am the last one who can look after of her and my salary was only 5500/- INR.
In this salary I have to manage everything like her education expenses, rent of our house & all the others expenses which are mandatory for being alive. I never wished to go in any other process (I J P) and I was ready to work like a sweeper also in your establishment but I should not be terminated. Now due this unfair thing I and my younger sister is living on roads as we don’t have rent money to pay to our landlord.
So, after being terminated no one help me in the company so I am here asking your kind co-operation and help so that I can do work again. I want you to please look into my matter and give my experience certificate so I can work in any other center for my living and for fulfilling my responsibility.
I, once again request you to please take few minutes from your busiest schedule to read this and if it is illegal or not acceptable according to Genpact’s policy I would like to pay my sorry to you.
If company will not take into the subject and will not lend a hand to me in this situation so I would do suicide. You and your higher authorities are my last hope and I do believe that Genpact won’t like to be in news due to employee’s suicide case.
This is my last hope and I do believe that I will get justice but if it will not take seriously I will make the translation of this letter in our local language and copy of the same will be dispatched to following authorities:
1. 1.Chief Minister of Rajasthan State
2. 2.State Commissioner of Police
3. 3.Indian labor commissioner office
4. 4 .Governor of Rajasthan
5. 5.District consumer forum
6. 6.President of India
Once again I would request you to please do the fair justice and give me a way to walk so that I can get something to earn and live my life with some happiness not only for me but for my younger sister also.
I hope that I’ll get prompt and proper reply of my appeal and will be revert back very soon.
