[Resolved]  GM INdia - Chevy Spark — Poor Customer Service

hi, I bought Spark from Bellad Motors Hubli. And they said I will get some Corporate Discount and some free gifts as part of booking. Sales guy said GM company will give you. but no luck. Since from 3months I called around 23 times to 30308080. No responce. I decided not to have any car from GM now onwards.

I recently sent the car for accident repair to the dealer GERMAN MOTORS, KANNUR BRANCH.

The total bill amount was 25758 RS .Now I found excessive bubble formation on the painted surface. This is just after one month of


Now im totally dissatisfied with this repair they have done. There is another wonderful thing that my car got accident in front RH side,

for this they replaced the rear chevy monogram also, WHY...?, I didnt got the reason still now. Im attaching the

photographs of defected area of my car with this mail. I hope your immidiate action on this issue.

This is in regards to the service issue with the SPARK (AP 10 AP 1090) vehicle that I have given at Orange Auto Pvt Ltd, Sanath Nagar, Hyderabad. I would like to express my heartfelt pain and sorrow over the developments of the service issue that I had. The experience, so far is very irritating and I just do not have any words to express the grief that I am going through. I have given the vehicle to get it serviced on the 7th Of August 2012, and yet I do not have any information as to when my vehicle would be delivered to me. I agree, that my car had a major service issue as the vehicle got immersed in water due to excessive rains and given the low lying area that I live in. However, I strongly believe that it should not take such a long time to get this repaired. I am tired of visiting the service center and calling the service manager incessantly, for there is no proper response. It becomes very hard for me understand why is the job getting delayed, I even paid Rs.30, 000/- upfront without any second question when I was told that the engine block has to be replaced and was told that it could cost me upto Rs.85, 000/- (breakup of which was not provided). Anything that I ask them, would be replied with a wicked smile stating that "car got immersed in the water and engine problem is a major problem and it would take time". I think over a period of 40 days, a new car itself can be manufactured even if the assembling of parts is done manually. Huh! Trusting your service center and the staff there is the biggest mistake of my life and I truly feel its better to die banging my head to a hard wall than listening to the jazz of your stupid staff, who half of the time do not understand the customer's point and the other half be lazy in responding to the queries. The attitude and culture of the staff across the service center is so irritating, and I pray no one should ever get into such a situation of dealing with pricks. I have totally lost confidence in Orange Auto and in no matter of time would loose it on the General Motors, if I fail to get any response to this.

Anticipating General Motors intervention towards a peaceful solution on this.
Poor response for below complaint from KLN and No Action taken by GM.

It seems GM is happy to loose their market in chennai with KLN Motors in their network.

Dear Team,

I did not get any call from KLN Ambattur service manager to address the service issue.

Since the vehicle delivered on 3rd JAN 2012 without fixing the issues reported, I again given it for service on 9th Jan at KLN Motors Ekattutangal service centre. Only minor issues reported.

1) Rattling noise while driving. (due to loose speaker screw)
2) Power window problem. Slow Up/Down.

Due to negligence during service the engineer drained my car's battery and currently it is having starting trouble and the Battery is with service team.

Currently the vehicle is not in driving condition and I already lost 12 Days in service.

Request you to check the service record of vehicle TN xx YYzzzz since December 27th and help me in getting my car back in good condition.

Any further delay from service center is unacceptable, hope you understand the frustration of vehicle being ruined in the name of service by an authorized dealer.

I am a poor customer of Chevrolet owning Beat diesel Ps vehicle in
chennai. I Feel very bad about my decesion to buy chevrolet vehicle
due to the worst service from dealer KLN motors chennai.

I purchased this vehicle from KLN motors, Chennai in 2012 January.

When I had given my vehicle for 6 months service at KLN service centre
Ekattutangal, my car's bonnet is dented and i have been told that it
is happned while placing tools and the same will be corrected during
my next service.

They also told me that my vehicle need to be sent to their Ambattur
service centre since they donot have body shop in Ekattutangal.

Recently I had given my vehicle for service in KLN motors, Ambattur
service station
for 1 year service maintanence and for correcting the dent made during
previous service.

Vehicle sent to Ambattur service station on 27th December 2012. Prior
to sending the vehicle service appointment taken.

After huge delay of 7 Days. Service engineer came yesterday to deliver
my vehicle back. While inspecting the painting work done on bonnet my
heart broken!!!

The painting is done on top of sand, dust particles and hair. Lot of
embossed patterns are visible in the painte surface.

I did not take my vehicle back and asked the service engineer to correct it.

I request GM India to take serious action and get my vehicle back with
decent paint finish on my bonnet.

This issue will surely leave a scar in the heart which chose GM with
lot of hope. I am yet to get my vehicle which already spent 8 days in
service center and left me struggle for my daily transportation needs.
