[Resolved]  Goa Dairy Milk — Being sold more than MRP

A couple of days ago, it came in Goa news papers that Delhi has increased the price of Milk from 26 to 28 per litre, from that time onwards, even though there is no increase in the milk price in Goa, all the shops in South Goa are selling milk at Rs. 14.00 per half litre packet, but the MRP marked on the packet is Rs 13.00, all the shop keepers say that the distributor who delivers them the milk takes 13.50 per packets and asks them to sell at 14.00, some say that they take 13.00 from the shopkeepers and ask them to sell at what ever price they wish., if this practice is not stopped, the poor customers will have to suffer when the prices of every unmarked stuff in shooting sky high. No address in put on the sign boards, and when we ask them for the address they are not willing to give it. One of the shops name is Shanta Durga General Stores, which is located on the Margao - Colva Road, near the Reliance Colony, next to Nidhi Ice Cream Dsitributors, in South Goa and the other store is situated near Green House Junction, in front of the Colva Police Station, another one is Ramola Super Market, which is situated in Cana Benaulim, on the main road from Maria Hall to Colva, and also another small stores very near Ramola Super Market, these are the four stores which sells more than the MRP, I am sure that there are other shops also doing this, if you can arrange for a surprise check in this area you will able to find out the situation.
