[Resolved]  Godrej 1.5 Ton Window AC — PATHETIC SERVICE PROVIDED BY THE COMPANY

I had bought a Godrej A.C., model : GWC-1865 on 30/3/08 from SADANA ENTERPRISES, Kanpur Road, Lucknow with Bill no. 44.

On 30/04/09, this machine started giving problem.. i called upon the service guys that very day. one person came and told that the PCB has fault and took a copy of the Bill with him. After many more reminders, on 27/05/09, another person came and told that the PCB of the machine is damaged took away the complete PCB board.

Thereafter, on 9/06/09, again after almost a dozen phone calls to the King refrigeration, authorised service center of godrej, they come back with the PCB saying that it is a new one and fitted it.. On starting the AC, the same problem persisted.. Now, they told us that the compressor is not working and they will need to take the machine at the workshop.. They took away the machine along with the photocopy of the bill. Next day, i.e. on 10/06/09, they came back with the machine and told us the the mechanic will come and fit the AC... Since then nobody has come after so many reminders to KING REFRIGERATION WORKS.

Now, in these circumstances i have no other option but to approach the consumer forum for redressal of the problem.
