AFTER OPENING THE FRIDGE (PENTACOOL 200 LTR FROST FREE DOUBLE DOOR) COMPLETELY, HE TOLD ME HE WAS GOING HOME AND DEMANDED RS.1600/= FROM ME. WHEN ASKED WHY, HE SAID IT WAS TOO LATE FOR HIM TO WORK, BECAUSE THERE WAS ICE INSIDE THE FRIDGE. ASKED ABOUT THE 1600/= AMOUNT, HE SAID THAT WOULD BE THE NOTIONAL AMOUNT THAT WOULD BE SPENT IN THIS JOB, AND IN ADVANCE, THAT TOO, MONEY RECEIPT ETC WOULD BE GIVEN “TOMORROW”. I FLATLY DENIED. HE WENT AWAY, GIVING ME HOPE TO COME BACK BY 4-5 PM TODAY. NOW TODAY AT HIS MOBILE NO- HE SAYS THAT HE WOULD NOT COME, AND TALK TO THE HELP LINE. MAHESH I-CARD NO. IS –

MAHESH TOLD ME THAT A TOTAL AMOUNT OF RS.1590/= INCLUDING HIS CHARGES 350/= SHALL BE NECESSARY. I INSTANTLY AGREED. BUT STILL HE DID NOT DO THE JOB AND WENT AWAY, GIVING FALSE HOPE THAT HE WOULD COME TOMORROW. WHILE PARTING HE SMILINGLY WANTED RS.500/=. I ASKED WHY. HE SAID DIWALI TIPS. I SAID I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO PAY THAT MUCH, BUT IF HE COMPLETES HIS JOB SUCCESSFULLY, I SHALL EXTENT HIS FEES FROM 350/= THAT MUCH I COULD THINK OF.
NEXT DAY HE REFUSED TO COME. FRIDGE IS ALL OPEN AND PARTS STREWN ALL OVER. MY INSULIN FRIDGE PROVED TO BE VERY VERY IN A SAD CONDITION.
HELPLINE SENT ANOTHER MECHANIC, (MOB- [protected]) WHO DID NOT HAVE ANY I-CARD.HE TOLD ME THAT OVER & ABOVE THE DETECTED BAD PARTS, THE FAN MOTOR IS ALSO NOT WORKING. IT WOULD HAVE TO BE CHANGED AND WOULD COST 1000/=.
THE SAID FRIDGE HAS AGAIN STOPPED WORKING 3 DAYS AGO. I CALLED THEM UP BUTLINE ENGAGED.
PLEASE LOOK INTO THE MATTER BEFORE I LODGE F.I.R AGAINST MAHESH & THE OTHER MECHANIC, AND ASK – THE JUST DIAL.COM & QUICKR ALTERS ETC., TO BLACKLIST YOUR COMPANY’S NAME SO THAT PEOPLE START ASKING ANY GODREJ MECHANIC, IF HE IS FROM “UNITED HOME CARE” AND IF SO, TO PLEASE GO AWAY.
