I too got this message regarding this splash promotion 2009...what about this message????? Is it correct or someone is making fun o[censored]s...

Sir I have received SMS and told that you have won prize money of 700000 british pounds and told to agent contact your fiduciary agent in manchester agent named S.G.T. David ESS.
Please tell me what is the game.

I have also recieved a similar message from the Guinness Organisation.They are asking me for huge amount of money whenever I contact them to clear various formalities.There names are SGT DAVID, PETER SMITH of the British High Commission and JOHN WELLPAULSON of the Diamond Security Courier Service. Please help us regrding this matter...

i too received the same mail stating that i won prize amount of 700000 british pounds !! in some splash promotion contest organised by guinness organisation they gave some agent name markings henry and a contact id and phn number[protected].
i feel this is some fruad don't know exactly plzz confirm.

I append below copy of a message I tried to forward to Scotland Yard. It is said SY/British Police does not have any facility for getting complaints/information via e-mail. Will anybody forward this letter of mine to Scotland yard?

I too have received an SMS saying that you have won 700, 000 pounds in splash promotion and for further inquiry please contact Mr. Markings Henry, giving his e-mail ID and phone number. Earlier also I had received such messages. I would like to inform people having received such messages to ignore such messages and please for God's sake, do not fall prey to it. Once you give your personal details, they will ask you to send 600-700 pounds towards courier charges etc. and once they receive the money, they won't respond to any of your queries. So it is my humble request not to fall prey to it since it is a total fraud and I have reasons to say this.

I also have got the same mail. It seems to be a trap.

I also received same message and inquired all being false and a technique to gain certain prestigious amount earned by hard work of any individual.

I too have received the similar message on 13 April 2009 at 1.57pm and I've sent an email to (s.[protected]@hotmail.com) enquiring further about this. I don't know if it's fake or true. However, my family was happy for a few moment last night after hearing this.

There are so many winners how's this possible? Splash promotion must be a money making scam by some crooks.

If the world was really this much kind and generous then the words like

misery
frustration
poverty
hunger
helplessness
recession

Wouldn't exist.
