[Resolved]  Gupta Enterprises, Aya Nagar — Illegal Shop Demolition

Dear Sir,

Thing is to bring into your notice that there is a demolition done and items has been taken out in the major quantity from the shop “Gupta Enterprises, Near Water Tank, Phase 4 & 5, Aya Nagar, New Delhi – 110047”.

Yesterday around 12 noon, the local Police people and the MCD people came in a group along with the service truck and demolished the shop from the front and entered into the shop, dragged the items and taken it along with them (TV, Frigde, Washing Machine and many other costly items). They have also taken few items from our different shop which is in other inner side of residential area.

If such demolition happens or if any encroachment done by MCD, it is previously informed to the shopkeepers or the residential people to whomsoever these are concerned. But in this case it was not informed to us and also if such cases happens then if happens to the other people also in the same area. However, this had happened only with us and approx 200 people watching the same.

Many tried to stop that demolition, but Police people (Sunil Uppal) did not listen and did lathi-charge on those for that and done whatever they wanted to. They have openly asked for Bribe of Rs. 50000/- (Fifty thousands) which we have denied to provide them.

We are 100% suspecting on our shop neighbor who has got this done. His name is Bittu son of “Uttam Bohra (shop name – Uttam Telecom)” and he does the same business as o[censored]s. From last long time, he had done few activities in the same manner and now this time he has gone beyond his limits. He did not want us to grow and he did not want to see us getting developed. He is involved with MCD and police people. When we had gone to register this issue to the local Thane, no one was there to register the complaint.

Also, since yesterday this guy Bittu on o[censored]ttam Bohra has gone away from this place along with his entire family. No one is aware where he has gone.

Request to please register this complaint on serious notice and take serious action on this against this guy. Your immediate action is required in closing this asap and help us in getting us items back which is huge loss for us.

Your kind attention and action is required.

Note: Attached are the photos of the illegal demolisted shop (GE1.jpg,GE2.jpg,GE3.jpg) and the photo of the Bittu shop (GE4.jpg) which was not touched at all.

Thanks and Regards,
Mr SKP Chaudhary

• When breaking up thick chunks of concrete especially, the bit may get caught in the material. You can push down on the handle (make sure to shut off the tool before doing this) to lever the material up, or use a pry bar. Always observe safety guidelines when operating a jackhammer – they’re powerful destructive tools and should be respected as such
what was the reason given by police to demolish your shop?
