[Resolved]  Hathway — Sending bills after termination of account

Please refer the below mails which i had sent to Hathway Customer care center,
I am not getting any feedbacks from Hathway for those mails,
I paid my final settlement and terminated the account, (Find the attached bill and screen shot).
Still i am receiving messages to pay the bill amount,
Also they had disconnected the account, but they have not removed the modem and Cables from my house.

Dear Hathway Execuitive,

Kindly respond to this mail,

Today also I got a message as

“Your bill dated: 01-JUN-09 of amount Rs. 2097.38 with due date15-JUN-09 is generated.

Hard copy of your bill will reach you shortly.

Customer ID : 438238

Every month I am receiving such kind of message to my mobile,

But I have not even received a single hard copy of my bill,

I am mailing this issue consequently to you,

But I am not getting proper response,

Kindly contact Mr. Dinakaran (I contacted him through phone),

He informed me, that’s not an issue,

Kindly halt sending messages to my mobile,

I paid all my amount and there is no due from my side.

Kindly call to my mobile ([protected]) if you need further clarifications,

Today onwards I am not going to use the internet, hence I am not responsible for further bills towards my account,



This is just a proof and information for you.

In future if any bills are credited in my account, I am not responsible.

Reasons to cancel the account:-



I am not getting bills regularly.
(Without sending bill you had added late payment fees of 103/- Rs. last month).



I had been in 256 kbps plan, but I am receiving maximum download speed range of (20-25kbps in morning) and (5-10 kbps in peak hours).
(I feel really terrible to continue this connection)



For this same plan (256 kbps) my friends are paying total amount of 730/- rs only.
(But I am compelled to pay 772.10/-rs per month (Subscription charge 700 + service tax and other taxes of 72.10))





Kindly consider the above said facts and cancel my account as soon as possible,



Note:-

With reference to this mail, if you fail to disconnect my connection soon, I won’t pay the bill for the upcoming periods.

I am also a hathway user and i never had issues the reason u r not receiving bills is because u have selected SMS option change it from

Second u have 256 speed and u r getting 25-30 kbps dl that is fine as
256 is burst speed ACTUAL DOWNLOAD WILL BE 8TH OF 256 IE 32KBPS

I recharged for offer, recharge for 3 months in advance and get additional 15 days free. But my connection got disconnected after 3 months (didn't get additional 15 days). Raised multiple complaints through call, App and mails to billingchennai and HelpdeskChennai, they are making fake promises but till I didn't get my connection activated. I don't recommend Hathway internet to anyone.
