This refers to my complaint filed with HDFC bank about not crediting the cheque deposited in my Savings account. Some of the bank's executives were however was unable to trace the same till today morning. However, they've credited to my current account and are not accepting the mistake.

Due to this mistake, I receive a SMS from HDFC Ltd.saying the loan went uncleared and I had to bear a penalty . Please note that there was a direct debit facility arranged from HDFC Ltd. to HDFC bank till the 10th of every onth. Dure to banks oversight, why should I bear the brunt of penalty.

Self cheque from ICICI via cheque no. 419681 was deposited at the HDFC ATM at Catle Mill at 18: 18 on 7/4/2008 via transaction no. 3543 (Amount Rs. 15000/-) into the Savings account of HDFC (A/c No. XXX XXX XXXX3515)

The same gets cleared by ICICI on 9th April and is reflecting in the statement.

On 15/4/2008 at 16: 18, I receive a SMS from HDFC Ltd. about a uncleared loan .

I am surprised and then check my savings account. No credit is reflected.
Enquire with the bank and file a tele-complaint. They do not appear to find the problem and I start pressurising them. Then, at the complaints desk on April 17th, admit that amount reflects in the Current account (which I do not use at all). But the bank fails to do the rectification. On 18th, I once again file a e-complaint on the banks website.
Again on 19th I call up HDFC bank and fire them, no rectification. However on 19th morning they call me and ask me to telephonically transfer via TIN (telephone identification number), which I adhere to.

Kindly note that the bank is still not addressing my concern on making good the loss on penalty payment and in terms of interest accrued on my HDFC loan account due to your default. Also, they are not accepting their mistake of crediting my current account wrongly.

Please note that I do not even recollect my current account number as I do not use it. Hence there is no question of me depositing the same into the current account. Also, the banking slip from ATM also mentions the deposit clearly in my saving account i.e. XXXX 3515.

Please make good the loss as this is not an excuse. Simulataneously an filing a consumer complaint at the Consumer forum and also approaching the media.

Please note that the same was been deposited on 7th of April, 2008 via cheque no. 419681 of ICICI bank at Castle Mill- ATM to account XXXXXXXXXX3515 wth the S No 3543. To my utter shock I realise that the same was credited by ICICI on 9th but there no credit appearing in my account statement. To add up to this I understand that my HDFC Loan cheque No. 5417 for Rs. 14430 returned unpaid and the loan office is now charging me with interest.(my loan account no. being[protected] Kindly note that my call to phone banking at 6 PM today, clarifies that my cheque was credited to the current account. Please note that this is not pardonable as per principles as I had to bear the interest on loan with an additional mental stress. Hence, I request you immediately to make good the loss (in terms of interest accrued on my HDFC loan account due to your default) else I shall be taking up the same with the RBI. I am PR Swamy .last month 11/02/2010 i have requisted for the cuurent account referance no.SB[protected], till today it is not activated . i have not received any communication from your side, whether it is accepted or rejected, even though providing all necessory communication details in application . I am Ranganath Sharma, having salary account in HDFC bank account dept...

As in the process i have applied for the Personal Laon... ( Exe : Somaiah ) and document collector is Ashok.

As per the conversation over the phone with Somaiah[protected] as per his suggestion loan amount will be pushed upto 2lacs ...

In the conversation he has mentioned about the interset rate, processing charges and insurance ( 1500 rs ).

After submitting all the documents to the bank ..i had received 4 calls from the customer care enquiry about the myself ...in the process i have spoken to a lady from crdit department ( Divya ) as per her statement she has clearly mentioned that ther will be Waveoff of the Insurance from ther side as i was not coming under that category ...and she also mentioned that i will be deducted only the 2% processing charges.

later after 2days i had executive coming in to my office ( Rajesh ) ...at that time also he has also mentioned that the insurance amount will be waived offf and i wont be getting any deduction on that ( Insurance )

After all these i have got the amount of 181000 RS on 21-jun-2008 wherein more than 6000 have beeen deducted ...i was shocked to see this and surprised.

as per the bank officials stated me that the amount of 187000 is the amount approved for myself.

Calculation : 187000*2/100 = 3740
=[protected] = 183260
Agreement charges :[protected] = 183110

RS 183110 is the amount what i should have got from the bank but i got only 181000 which is 2000Rs lesser than what i expected.

when i called up to ask regarding the same ...they are telling that its INSURANCE ...again shocked and surprised ...

I just want expalnation on this why ther is dislink between the departments as they are not sure of what they are telling ...and each every is giving different to the customer.

and i also dont where the money is going ...and to who;s pocket.

Please do investigate or else please educate the People of different departments.

And I am very much disappointed with HDFC ...

I want the detail letter on this.

am Ragavendran. R. My complaint ID 100000. It is almost 2 months since my money had debited from my account. I have never seen such this poor response. I spent a lot to call your customercare and there such a bad response and false promises. Your customer care people often tell that they would call me and response within 24 hours. But, I have received nothing so far. I do not like to critize people but in this I have no words to criticize you. I should receive call tomorrow regarding this. Kindly see the complaint records and credit my money as soon as possible. There should be no further delays and reasons in this.

Further, I have submitted the charge back form last month 19th. Do the needful at the earliest. I am really disappointed of your poor service.

I have loads of complaints for HDFC bank; These bank officials are corrupt; they always look for a bribe; I requested change of the address two times; once the form was filled up by them and they give tear copy, to my surprise they changed the form and added unnecessary lines to my address that was not supported by my address proof. Another time i went to bank with similar request and i filled up the form and to my surprise again they added additional items to my address and they did not change it.
I wanted housing loan since i maintained the account there and you won't believe they did not bother to take even my application.

HDFC bank is lousy and i will not r recommend to deal with the same if you another option. You do not feel secure.

Myself Raman Tyagi, I had a Credit Card of ABN AMRO BANK on 2005. I always paid regular payment when I hold that Credit card. After 11month I had no need of that credit card than I tell to customer care person please tell me full and final payment then I give go to you and I settled it. Then they told me you give 594/- Rs. Payment for full and final payment to repasentative that time I am not in home then my wife give 594/- Rs. Cheque to that person after 5 month they again call me your some payment is pending that time I again ask to customer care please tell me what is your full and final payment .that time they told me you give only 317/- Rs. for full and final settlement. Then I again gave to them that amount cheque and on that payment time I told to that gay who come for payment please write Full and final settlement then he ask to his manager then he write the full and final settlement on me receipt . after give this payment every 6 month they call me and abusing me and my family, tell your payment is due and now they give my file to SABI and now I want some lone and credit card then citi bank tell to me your SABI give low rank please help and save me to this case.

I dont know is there anyone looking out this site forunderstanding the need and query of the CUSTOMERS.

I'm also one among may who are suffering from the unplesent approch of bank.

Its a whole torture of around 20 days but still nothing happend positive though i presented all the credentials to establish my crediblity.

I was under the impression HDFC offeres a good service which was shattered and was being seduced. today i'm in a position where i firmly advice not to opt for any services from this bank atleast.

hdfc is the worst bank i have ever dealt with.i submitted a form for opening a zero balance account with this bank on 27 of september in PHULLANWALA BRANCH OF HDFC IN LUDHIANA as my company has ties with this bank and after a lot of delays my account was opened and now they say i cant withdraw money until i have got the welcome kit from them.though i have got the message on 16 of this month that my welcome kit has been dispatched on the very same day.when i enquired about such stupid reasons they say that these delays are due to diwali.sir/mam diwali is yet to come then how could these delays be?????kindly see to this problem.

I have visited to HDFC bank (East of kailash) Branch, My purpose was to make correction in address / address change. Staff was not helpful and not even guiding me well that what document should I provide for that. One of female executive even said that this cannot be done from here because your account is with noida branch. I have told her that I lived here in east of kailash but still she was continuing saying this. Second executive was very rude I was sitting and no one standing behind me and he said that wait for some time and sit on the next chair and there was no chair vacant at that time.
I felt very bad and I have immediate left from there.

Hdfc Bank — HDFC IPMS transaction not working

I transferred amount using HDFC IPMS service. Still not credited back to me.

About charges diducting agains my ECS failuair

HDFC Bank Airoli has Deducted ECS DR Return charges 400.75/-Rupees from my HDFC AC [protected]. Because my HDFC AC balance is less to pay ECS to my Gopinath parsik janata sahakari bank AC 4299.
