[Resolved]  HDFC Bank Bank Credit Card — Harrasment by HDFC Bank

Dear Sir,

I have one credit card and uses the same pays the due amount regularly and it was issued to me when I was at Kolkata now on Sep 07 got transffered to Bangalore where my company opened salary account at HDFC Bank due to this transfer from Kolkata to Bangalore I missed 5 instalments of Credit card payment but this month for my daughter admission I took Rs-60000 from my company and deposited the same in HDFC Bank account but after i issued the check to my daughter school i came to know that Bank has hold my total money ie;Rs-85000. Again on 18th Mar 08 i came to know that Bank has taken this money.

Please help me how come the Bank can take this money from my account without informing me whereas I had call the Phonebanking & my branch.

Please help how to go ahead.

Sir/Madam,

This is with regard to HDFC credit card I have been holding this card for more than 3 years.

I took a credit this card of Rs. 8000/- in 2006 and after that I was paying this minimum amount what ever is updated in the outstanding statement for upto 2008. Then I went for full and final settlement to clear the outstanding and they made out settlement on Rs.13000/- with Rs.1000 EMI per month towards me after paying minimum amount every month before EMI get started. I paid this EMI one year and then also I have not received settlement letter from the Bank.


Now HDFC customer care executive directly came to house in my absence and asking to my parent for recovery of outstanding. After that I went to bank once to clear the above matter then again they show Rs.15000/- outstanding balance on my credit card and I have to clear this amount with in six month with EMI of Rs.2500/- per month then they will issue the settlement letter for me. If I already clear Rs.13000/- by giving 1000/- EMI every month then why again the statement has showing Rs.15000/- outstanding on my name?


This is for your information I am a middle class person. My Mother and father is BP patient also my younger brother is mentally retire patient & these people coming to my house once in a month and Harassing to my mother and father in my absence with out any intimation where as I updated my mobile no to them.


I would sincerely appeal to whomsoever to look into this as it really disturb my mental stability.
Please do something as I strongly feel that this is affecting my mental health.

After clearing all the above matter you are requested to discontinue my credit card.

HDFC Credit Card — Even after closing the Credit card they come back and say i have to pay the money

Hi,
I was holidng the HDFC Credit card([protected]) and i have used it till 2006. After that i was unable to pay the monthly payments and i ahd a discussion with them and got the settlement offer of paying Rs 42,000 and close the card.

I have got the offer letter from them on[protected] and i ahve done the payment through cheque on the same day.

After 2 years(June,2008) i got a call from HDFC Credit card department asking whether i have any settlement letter or not and i said no, immidatly they blocked my HDFC Savings account funds.

When i enquired with them they said i havent done any payment and the payment is due. Luckily i was holding the Settlement Offer letter and when i have faxed that they actiavted my savings account.

Now again on[protected] they again holding my funds within my savings account (HDFC Banl account) and sent me a notice saying that i have to do the payment.

I am not sure what i need to do? I am having the settlement offer letter and the compliant i have lodged in 2008 as well.

Can i take any legal action on them? I cannot use my funds and i am mentally suffering because i cannot use my funds for my day to day usage.

Credit Card HDFC Bank — bank account closed without information

dear sir,
I would like to draw your attention towards my problem with HDFC bank, gwalior.
I had an account with the bank. I too had an credit card of the bank issued under the name and account: Ajay Tambat/Ashwini Tambat a/c no.[protected].
In 2005 july we destroyed the credit card of the bank in indore office after making full and final payment in front of the exec. Sajal.
Now on 16th dec 2007 the bank account was freezed without any prior information on account of outstanding balance of credit card.
We talked at all levels in the bank and lastly we filed a case with consumer court . We won the case in Jan 2009.

again there was no correspondance from the bank side.
later in May 2009 when we talk to bank people, we came to know that our account has been closed. till now we are trying to talk to all the level of people in the bank but yet we have not recd the money nor answer. We are genuinely fed up with the bank people.
I am enclosing all the documents so that you can look into the matter and give some relief to us. the amount in our account was 8500 approx, + more than 5000 has been spent on the cases, +nearly 5000 fine we had to pay for the emi bounce for our car with ICICI bank

I am requesting you to kindly initiate the process of settlement for my account.

I have been requesting since last 2 months to card department representative for settlement but every time they ask me to make minimum payment and say that they will initiate the process of settlement only after I make minimum payment. But even after making the minimum payment the process is not imitated and the next month again they say the same thing and now this month they told me that all settlement are closed until next year.

I am very sure in the month of January I will be again told that due to ending financial year all settlement are closed.
I am really fed up with the whole process.

Requesting you to kindly look into the matter and do the needful.

Sir, on 16/12/2009, I mate Mr. Rajeev (Mobile No [protected]) and Mr. Himanshu (His Boss)in the Rajori Garden, Ansal Tower Branch. I told them that I was going to transfer the fund to the Credit Card. They were not at all agree with me and told me to transfer the whole amount in my account to the credit card. Then only they will give me the sattlement latter. I told them that I was told that the settlement amount will be of Rs. 45000 which I have to pay in 6 monthly installment. But they are asking around 20000 upfront. I even requested them to take 10 - 12K first and release the rest amount, but they refused. They were not at all cooperating with me. I even asked them to let me meet a senior person but Mr. Himanshu told me that he is the one and only the main senior person in whole HDFC Bank. He is the owner and he will do whatever he want to do with the money in the account of HDFC Bank customer.They even misbehaved with me.I did'nt agreed with their terms and I refused to sign anywhere in their agreement.
Sir, I have enough evidence that my money was not at all credited to my account on 11th Dec. It was on 14th. Even I checked my Account on 12th and 13th. It was showing in the ledger balance. Only on 14th, it might have been credited and they had blocked my money. They had even bounced my ECS on 15th of Dec.I had even informed Mr. Rajeev on 14th and on 15th of Dec. But he was telling me that it was not of his concern.Mr. Himanshu was telling me that the money was credited on 11th of Dec. But, after I found out that my money has been blocked, then only Mr. Rajeev was saying me that he had taken revenge from me.
Sir, I hope that at least this time I will get a reply from your side.

They are releasing my settlement letter soon. But, Mr. Rajeev's statement was totally different from the executive. I was really confused.

Today also he call me many times when i said my DD is not cleared yet it is showing in ledger balance, he said i have taken the revenge by blocking your account.
Sir he is asking for the payment and on the other hand he blocked my account then how can i make payment??????????

For your reference I am giving you my credit card no [protected]. . You can check my previous records also. I am a genuine customer of your bank but I am not satisfied with the services received from your bank.

This is not the first incidence. 3 month back (Sep-2009) when i lost my ATM card and it was swapped by some unknown person.
No one from the bank was ready to help me. It was my whole month salary.
I had visited HDFC bank but instead of helping me, they said we don't have any rule to check ID proof when there is any swaping in your card. So we are not responsible and we cann't help you. Even though I had provided them the sufficient evidence. So I had taken the help of police.

Sir I am really fad up with HDFC bank services so I want to close my account ([protected]) as well as my Credit card ([protected]). Please process my request ASAP.

This time Hoping for your positive and immediate revert.

Dear Sir

I took an ICICI Lombard health policy on 27 Feb. 2008 thru HDFC credit card no.[protected] for two years. I used this policy first year and paid 12 regular EMI @ Rs.568 / =6816.After first year I have stopped this policy and ICICI bank sent a cheque no.102424 of amount Rs.4555/ .Thus HDFC Bank have received total amount =Rs.6816+ Rs.4555=Rs.11371 / from me. HDFC Bank paid an amount Rs.11371/ (i.e. Rs.6816 for first year +Rs.4555for second year) for ICICI Lombard. But HDFC Bank has sent a statement of amount Rs.4800. There are no dues from my side. I already sent lot of Email to HDFC bank to stop credit card. But HDFC Credit Card guys keep calling me and keep telling that I have some amount due to pay which is so ridiculous as never made any purchase.

Kindly help me.

HDFC Bank Credit Card — Harrasment by the bank regarding payment that was already made and non-communication and delayed claim harrasment

Sir,

I was a customer with HDFC bank from 2004. I had a savings account with them and later on I opted a credit card. I have 3 major areas of complaint agains the bank:

- Irresponsible and non-cooperation: I never got to redeem my reward points from my credit card, and they never cared to either help me or inform me even after my repeated calls and follow-up at the customer care center.
- Harrasment by the bank to collect payment although I always paid my dues.
- Non-communication and keeping me in the dark regarding any arrears that I had to pay.

This is what happened:

In 2009, the recovery agent from HDFC bank called me to pay the due amount, as my card had expired. I agreed to make the payment, and made a payment of Rs 5000, then Rs 25000, and then Rs30000 to settle my account with the bank. They accepted the payment, but never cared to communicate to me about any other arrears. After making this payment in 2009, now the recovery agents are calling me again and asking for a payment of Rs 10,0090 more to close the account. I asked them to send the statement so that I can check why there is this arrear. After seeing the statements, I found out that there just Rs 3659.67 left unpaid. Now, first of all I did not receive any communication from the recovery agent who had called me earlier that there was any amount pending from me. And now, after 1 year, they are calling me up and asking me to pay this amount.

Firstly, I wasn't informed about any other extra payment. Neither the HDFC Bank customer care nor the Recovery cell called me to atleast acknowledge the payment nor did they inform me about this arrear. If they can call me up now and tell me about this payment, were they waiting for it to accumulate before they could inform and fleece me.

If in good faith, I made a payment of Rs 60000, was it not the bank's duty tot have cooperated with me in communicating about these arrears, so that they did not accumulate to Rs 10,0090? Instead they are calling and harrassing me.

It is really shameful the way these so called customer oriented Banks run their business.I have been holding HDFC credit card for more than a year and 3 months and have been paying the minimum payment on time inspite of getting the credit card statement from the bank. I hv asked for the statement hardcopy to customer care as well as collection when ever they call for collection. inspite helping me they have blocked my account and also forwrded me legal notice. I ask u one thing i[censored] people trace our address for forwarding notive then why can't u trace it for providing statement hardcopy. i m premium customer o[censored]r bank thats why my credit limit is enhanced to 200000 lakh and on other side u are treating us like a fraud customer, is this type of services u r providing to ur customers. I also talked to Abhishek verma detail given on notice, i was unable to contact him second time bcoz i hv misplaced that notice which i receive from ur side.

Secondly they have also deducted 4050 rs from my saving account.

Plz provide me the proper resolution of this soon.

I have dropped Cheque at kalyan branch (Thane) on 29/3/10 at 9.34 am, at that moment HDFC representive confirm me within 10 days it will get cleared (it was outstation cheq of IDBI bank Pune), today on Dated 13/4/10 still the cheq is not cleared & HDFC employees dont have any details of cheq status, when ask clearing time the same employee says 15 to 17 working days it means to clear a check HDFC require 22 days approx??

HDFC Bank Credit Card. — Harrasment by Collections Department.

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is to bring to your kind notice that I Dona Dey holding a Womam's Gold Credit Crad with number ([protected]) have paid 23,000 on the card, the card limit being 30,000. I am not using the card for 8 -10 months now, and have asked the bank to close the card by calling their customer care many times, but everyt time some collections people call and have abused me, and have asked exorbitent money to close the card and have not agreeed to give me any statement to show what are the charges they have leived on the card.

Now also some people from their collections dept are calling and harrassing me and asking me to pay 25,000 more and said will not give me any statement. Kindly helo me and advice me as to what should I do.

HDFC Bank Credit Card — demanding money after pay the amount

i ankur jain husband of isha jain having a credit card no [protected]. in my wife name in 2008.as per bank mr.amit joshi handle my account. he told me that you pay a monthly rs 9000 approx your accont has seetle in 168000/-.as per he told me i pay every month till 19 month ,there is no other call in these 19month.when i pay the last balance i am asking about the closer letter he said me that you get in next month a zero statement. i have all the reciept i have paid but when after a month there is no letter is coming , a call is coming from the bank and demanding full money i was shocked . i am going to bank and ask about his officer mr. amit joshi when i am hear about his i again shocked that he is cheated a lot customer and he is doing all the fakecomitment to customer ,some of customer taking legal action against him,now he is suspended,now i am in troble i told to bank that you have a voice recording system in the bank you check that what is going between us,but i dont know what they are doing,plz look in to the matter as soon as possible and take necessary action.

I am calling HDFCBANK for credit card since three days, and the customer care service ppl ar replying that their server is down. I have credit card bill of 4402, and i havent used this card for last 1 year.

Credit Card — HARRASMENT EVEN AFTER MAKING PAYMENT

I am a holder of credit card from HDFC , My due date had passed and I had to make a payment which I had confirmed that it will be paid be end of the day. The payment was done , but even then the executive had been making calls and using abusing language stating that I am lying and n number of things , she has been torturing me like anthing , is it justified ? The executive wants the exact time when the payment is made? She has to say that it is not updated in the system, also the argument is that the payment is made on the old credit card, she urges to make the payment on the new Credit card number which is not yet received by me,.

My Credit Card No. [protected] which is settled in the month 08/08/2009 of Rs.8000/- through you HDFC – Bhubaneswar (Orissa) after receiving the Fax Copy by officially order? As per your norms of payment in six installments I deposited the money in every month in Jharsuguda (HDFC) Bank. And clear the total dues. But again HDFC (Bank) send me balance amount as well as advocate notice why?

I complain Bhubaneswar (Office) they told me they send the copy, never mind due to not update of computer. But again I received the same.

From last three months to give complain to you HDFC (Bhubaneswar) as well as Kolkata they told they send person hand over the Xerox copy of letter which is received by settlement letter as well as deposit receipts for clearing. But till date no one came and takes any Xerox copy. I give complain in Jharsuguda (HDFC) they told me they never see credit card section. Even they unable to see as well as to give deposit copy of money of credit card from June 2009 to Jan 2010 in detail.

So please check the detail and close the account of balance as early as possible.

As per they requested, I given all the documents to upgrade from HDFC value plus to Titanium Plus credit card., But Still have no responce message and whenever i used to call, they have no receiving my calls.

My question is : Requested application is processing (or) cancelled (or) upgraded (or) card has been deleived to given address.
