I had the same issue. I called HDFC customer service and they recommended me to delete my browser cookies and restart the computer. I did all that and still face the same issue. Once I tried logging in from a house computer which I had never used before to log into HDFC, I was able to log in.

Good luck!

Hi,

My complaint is about the HDFC Quick remit services...I made transaction on 28th may and according to there SLA it should be dispatched within 24 hours However not it has been more than 8 days since when I am waiting my money to get transferred to my Indian Account.
I remitt money from Singapore DBS account to India HDFC account.

I have been complaining/messsaging the HDFC many many times...but they don't have clue...I have provided them every information they were needed...i.e Transaction ID, Remittance no...DBS Bank account statement...everything...but seriously I am frustrated now...don't have clue what to do...HDFC is worse bank in managing the issues...I really hate it now... ..if anyone having idea how to resolve it please help me.. use my office email id as well..RAVI-B.[protected]@UBS.COM
i agree and i also often see this. But for me it looks like this service is not 24 hrs.
it always succeeds during day time. so try next day .
HDFC quickremit is so stupid and it is down for the past one day and I have called them and also checked with them online chat they are saying it is fine but could not login from office or home and tried from many computers but still it sucks.

Stupidest bank and stupidest system the worst support.
This website really sucks man.. dont know who built that website... looks like it was bought in cheap. It don't have proper links, once u log in to the quick remit system you will not be having any home page link or f you try to go back thats it ..gone..., i am trying to login from past two days... no luck...I dont know how come they are getting approval to launch these kind of websites...that is why i really hate indian banks... their websites sucks and customer service literally screwed up...It is good to hear "mera bharath mahan" but poor in satisfying their own people and their needs.(It is my hatred on Indian system, no comments plz)
Even after cancelling the insurance plan o[censored]LIP on 26/02/2009...I see my A/c being debited for the amount of 3000rs for the date 03/03/2009.When i was canelling the policy the emplyoee did not inform me anything about cancellation of auto debit facility also...My policy has been cxld...pls refund my money as soon as possible...

I dont want any irresposibility with this...I want my money back...
this is worst bank, with worst processes.
i registered for quich remit, all the formalities were over and account set up was done. later after some days i remitted some amount from USA, now i am not able to track the status of it. after i login to account i get error message saying

"You are not approved for this functionality.
Please mail Customer Service for further assistance. ".

Now i am not able to do anything, and waiting for customercare ppl to reply( and that too i need to rely on their mails as they have phone service only on workdays, how lame, they are supposed to have 24x7 support).

has anyone had similar problem?
Dear All,

When you go to such a Cheap in rate service to transfer your fund, what else you expect?
They are not charging you more than a Rs. 25.00 as compared to other OVERSEAS BANK who charges £10.00 or $25.00
If you look for better service, you need to pay better - It is as simple as that !!!

Dear All,

I have only used "Money To India- ICICI" for transferring money to India. Fee is same 25 Rs and I have not faced any problem till date. Money is transfered within 24 hrs (if Transfer is made on working day).

One of my friend said that Exchange Rate of HDFC- Remit Now is Better than ICICI - Money to India. But after reading your comments above, I will prefer to stick to Money to India.

Cheers!

State Bank of India — Non transaction on workday

Sir,
On March 30, 2009, I went to SBI BSF BranchJalandhar ( Panjab) for some transaction but was told by bank staff there that no transaction would be done due to closing whereas other branches were functioning. May like to check.
Yours truly
Sharda Bhargav
Hi..

I had transferred money from Singapore to India and its been 3 days now and still money is not credited to HDFC account. The status in remittance page shows as "FUNDS AWAITED" but the money is transferred from local Bank here in Singapore(DBS Bank).
HDFC customer care services sucks...They don't solve your problem rather they ignore you. I've been transferring money from US to my parents in India. Their web portal is so use less that you can't even change your mailing address. When you try to find their customer care phone number; you won't be able to get it on their web site...but if you get it some how, no one is gonna answer that. I have never been so frustrated as I am after dealing with HDFC bank.
Even for me it is the same problem. I have tranferred some money in Euro and its been more than 2 weeks and I haven't recieved they money in my Indian account. They say there is a problem in the bank details I have given to them so NEFT to the account is failing. But my friend is able to transfer the money with NEFT with the same information i have given to them. And after 2 mails I haven't recieved any reply from them and also there is no customer care no to call and enquire about the status.
I cannot use quick remit to send money to state bank of india. I have the DBS account in singapore. When I send money from quick remit to State bank of india, I couldn't find the State bank of India in DBS list, always I see SBI singapore. Can you solve this problem?
My name is rajarathanam. I sent money from singapore to india on 21.5.2010 till today money not credited into my account. If you mail them they are not giving solutoins . Useless bank and useless system.

Hi,

Me too faced same problem ...I made transaction on last year from UK to India, there SLA is 24 hours, but it took 24 days to see the funds in my account. I made several calls from UK to HDFC India cust card and keep on sending mails but no response at all. Finally, I have escalated to HDFC Region Head and after that they have speeded up their process

Its been whole one week i am trying to get my money transferred to India. They have already taken money from the UK account, but no respose to my mails or calls as to why the money is stuck somehwhere in their banl.
Hi this is Arnab. I have tried to transfer money using HDFC quickremit to my SBI account in India from singapore. Although the money has been deducted from my DBS account here in singapore, it is still not reached in my account in India. The status showing that "Money awaited". i am really confused. I urge everybody not to use this service.
