Dear Sir,
I have a cbz extreme which is 7 months old.I have been having problems in exhaust because it is emitting black smoke.My average of the bike was around 55 but now it is just 35 to 40.I bought it from Kumar automobiles,vadodara.I gave the bike for repairing on 30th march 9 am.They gave me the bike on 1st april i.e yesterday but they havent yet solved the damn problem.When i went to complain they said thet we have changed many things and we have to keep 1 week observation.Is that the solution.if the smoke is coming then it is their duty to stop it as soon as possible.and they are saying you have to wait for 1 week.Now if this problem continues i dont know what to do.If i take few of my friends and fight with the guy it is of no use.So being a indian citizen i am writing this to you so that you can get a solution for it.hope you reply .please reply soon because i am in trouble sir. My self Nitin Karande from pimpri Chinchwad, Pune.I hav CBZ Extreme 2011 model which I bought before one year ago From M/s Sehgal Autoriders, Chinchwad, Pune.I hav facing many Problems in my Bike During one year.I hav done servicing of my bike as per schedule but it was not satisfactory .First of all handling of vehicle during servicing is very poor level .
I was very trusted on herohonda company & there service.But now i m feel very shame on herohonda .
From last two Months I m facing a very disgusting thing about my bike that i had done servicing of my bike before two months ago(in Aug-2012)from authorised service centre(m/s Sehgal autoriders, Chinchwad.Pune)& after 2 days from servicing I hav observed Oil Leakage from Engine Crank casing Bottom Drain Plug/Bolt.I suddenly show it to another Nearest Authorised service centre then it has been noticed that due to mishandling of Drain plug(i.e.over/improper tightening)during servicing internal helical coil thread was damaged which result in leakages of oil.
They suggested me to insert internal helical coil thread or to replace crank casing as a leakage solution .I was done a temporary arrengement like insert a helical thread coil & after that oil leakage was stopped.
But before ten days ago when i place my Bike to servicing(at Sehagal autoriders, Chinchwad, pune.) then During servicing, serviceman informed me regarding oil Leakage & he is doing helical coil threading for prevention of oil leakage.after that when I was going to receive my bike to show room then I have noticed that oil are leaking.. Such thing I informed to responded serviceman & supervisor But they replied me Like "We are not responsible about that, we hav already told that there is no guaranty of helical coil thread & already you are doing helical coil threading from another service centre & Now solution for leakage is to replace Crank Casing (near about 3000 Rs.)they were not ready to agree for their mistake of Mishandle of Drain plug & to replace Crank casing under warranty.
I would like to ask Heromotocorp/herohonda, That My vehicle is still Under warranty period & why should I pay/fined for replacement of crank case.I dont know exactly how leakage occurred due to mishandling of serviceman or It should be defective previously.
Leakage of oil is very serious problem & i hav no any option except to change crank case...
I request to Hero motocorp should pay serious attention & feedback me ASAP.
I hope from Heromotocorp they will consider my request & Help me to Replace Casing Under warranty period.
I will really appreciate, if Hero moto corp look into my matter & help me to solve my Problem.
