I had similar experience. I placed an order for blackberry 8310 on Feb. 2, 2009 through hindushopping website and made a payment through credit card. I kept making a call when their website showed "to be dispatched" status of the order much after the 10 day period that is promised for delivery of the article. On Feb. 21st I received a call from Hindushopping that they cannot deliver the article and that they would cancel the order. After 4 days, I received a mail from hindu shopping about the cancellation of the order and reversal of the amount to my credit card. Till today (March 18th), the charges have not been reversed and my credit card company has slapped interest charges as well as late payment fee to me for no fault of mine. Will hindu shopping tell me why they have not reversed the payment? Will they refund me the interest and late payment fee that my credit card company has charged to me?
hindu shopping — failure in delivering the items
i placed an order for mobile quick charger+antenna booster, travel charger for ipod under the order no:37299 on 30/3/09 the mobile quick charger was delivered defective and the travel charger for ipod is still not delivered yet and i returned the mobile quick charger for replacement but when ever i mail about my items the reply is the same 'we will update about your items in 3 days' it had almost been 20 days and when ever i mail them this was the reply .please make sure that my items are delivered atleast nowThe Hindu Shopping — product not delivered

Same very bad experience twice over with Hindu Shopping for the Order placed for a Magic Bullet blender recently on 28th October 2010. It was continuously showing "Ready to Ship" for the first 35 days and after a call to Bangalore call centre, they said it will be shipped in 10 days time.
Even after 45 days, nothing was changing and when enquired again over a call, they said, they faced unprecedented rush with the orders (imagine the money they had in their disposal for rotating the money), they could not send it and they promised to send it in the next 10 days.
After 55 days, when we made frantic calls, then they admitted that they could not supply the materials and offered a refund of the amount. Immediately I took the offer and asked them to credit it back in my account.
It is close to 60 days since I made the money into the account of The Hindu Shopping and I am yet to get the refund credited back into my account.
It is obvious cheating of the customer and what steps can be taken legally to counter this happening.

The Hindu Shopping — Delivery not made
I placed an order on the 14th of Feb '09 over phone for a product code 172 (English learner Laptop for Kids) and I paid the amount of Rs.999/- through my credit card by following the instruction and got the reference number as 74847. I waited for the material to be delivered at my house address as I was informed while placing order and my kid was waiting for same with lot of enthu and was very curious to use the same. Since I didn't receive any information and product till 21st of FEB '09, I called The Hindushopping customer service and spoke to Rekha at 10.12 am. She gave me a shock by saying that there is no order placed and didn't receive any payment from me after verifying the reference number.Till now I don't have either product or any information about the same. I checked with my banker, and the amount has been credited to INDIAPLAZAIVR via ref number [protected].
This is ridicules way of treating people who trust thehindushopping and will set a very clear benchmark for not to trust any more phone or net shopping.
Request you to help me in getting my money back along with compensation.
