[Resolved]  Hindustan Unilever - PureIT Water Purifier — Wrost Customer Service Level

We have logged complaint with Hindustan Unilver three months back to get the battery replacement for their Pureit water purifier product. There is no response as of now. We have been calling their tollfree number, customer care number & even their Anna Nagar East Division Branch near K4 police station but in vain. We have been following with their Anna Nagar Manager Mr.Prabhu - Contact Number [protected] for the past one week. He is also not taking any initiative. When we try to reach him someone picking up the mobile & saying he is busy in meetings & asking us to call later. This is happening for the past one week. HENCE PLEASE KEEP AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT.

the product is good but the worst service i have encounered. every time i am talking to the machine and no good.i am wondering why i made a choice of buying this product.its been 10 days now and no response.everytime i call, i get a complaint no. and 48 hours for the technicians to attend to the problem.
but i am still waiting for them to come.it is pathetic to know that hindustan lever is like this.
The lower gas chamber of pureit was damaged during transportation from bangalore to kottayam thanks to professional couriers (unprofessional couriers)on 23rd dec 10 we informed the customer care dep tof pure it immediately to replace the chamber & do the needful but till this day they have been saying sorry after sorry whenever we call them.At least they should have told where we have to take the kit for servicing even that they are not telling.The dealer in Bangalore said HLL have very good service network now he is also not cooperating.If the situation remains i may have to take next step.

what the customer care dept of pureit is doing.
I must thank pure it service center Kottayam for promptly replacing the damaged part& servicing it to my satisfaction.
Please HUL keep it up in the interest of Indian companies, others can approach the relevant service centers for the needful since I hope they they are highly concerned & committed about the service & would solve it.Have some patience. This is my personal experience.

I had purchased a Pureit water purifier recently from Ayyanthole, Thrissur. Nearly a month back, I had contacted the customer care number of Hindustan Unilever and order for a battery, as the existing battery stopped working. They promptly assured that the next day somebody will contact me or come to me with the battery. But till now they have not sent the battery nor anybody reported to me, inspite of ther assurance.

Pathetic service in mumbai please do not buy the product is my advice to all who are serching for a water purifier in mumbai.
Hi after going through demos of various RO system we opt for KENT RO. We also have Aquagard at our premisis. But quality of KENT RO is much better. Also they have excellent after sales (May be this can because of there office in noida and it is just 8-9 KM from my home) But we get after sales service within 1 working days. Anyone going for RO system please note that you should ask them location of there services center. Which ever is near will give fast after sales. other then that Kent and Aquagaurd are both good option. DON'T go for Pureit as it not complete Water purifier. If you don't want to go for RO then it is better to boil water rather then buing pureit as they have bad name in aftersales ( problem of battery change is very acute)

We have known that pure it gives us water as save as boiled water but our germ kill battery has not yet become red.We have noticed that water smells a lot with some greenish substance on surface.The amount of water coming out from the water tap is very slow which almost is like Raw water (not purified). I have Complained so many times but no response from the customer service.

Finally they responded through Sms but no action ,Complaint no :C[protected].

My kids have been hospitalized with severe health problems from last 3 months & doctor say that it is due to contaminated water.

This is the worst service i have ever come across in my life and it is your responsibility as well as duty to replace the battery free of cost otherwise i can take serious action against the company.

I have purchased a pureit water filter last one year back and observed that after four stage filtration system of your product, it has been found that after last stage filtration, some white colour silt has not been filtered by your product which is very harmful for human consumption.

So, Kindly see the above major defect and inhaunce your product purity.

I have also lodged complaints several times and every time sms was promptly sent service engineer will visit within 24 hours. After few hours sms was again received by me clearing the complaint as attended. Nobody even contact nor visit for any complaint. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE -after sales service is the worst for Pureit product. If they are not providing service, they should close down the call centre and no service guarantee should be given. THIS IS NOT EXPECTED FROM A COMPANY LIKE HINDUSTAN UNILEVER. After lodging complaints several times, I got the filter changed from a local shop who charged Rs.30 extra only for servicing.

In the era of "customer care" PUREIT neglect the customer care. I called at least 10 times during the last 10 days regarding the battery problem, but each time they provide a new complain no. and express their regretness for delay, but till date no any representatives/executives visit my house for solve the problem but the message from Team Pureit that "your complain has been attended" on my mobile no. So, we request all the people to abstain from buying this product.
