[Resolved]  Hindustan Unilever - PureIT Water Purifier — Wrost Customer Service Level

We have logged complaint with Hindustan Unilver three months back to get the battery replacement for their Pureit water purifier product. There is no response as of now. We have been calling their tollfree number, customer care number & even their Anna Nagar East Division Branch near K4 police station but in vain. We have been following with their Anna Nagar Manager Mr.Prabhu - Contact Number [protected] for the past one week. He is also not taking any initiative. When we try to reach him someone picking up the mobile & saying he is busy in meetings & asking us to call later. This is happening for the past one week. HENCE PLEASE KEEP AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT.

With reference to the above purit, I have logged a complaint on 01.04.2009. But till now there was no reply or action from your end.

Once again find below the issues:

1.The above said both purits purchased on 10.02.2009. I have approched through purit helpline ([protected]) for purchasing purit. After next day of my call, the person (Mr. Yuvaraj - [protected] and Mr. Vimal - [protected]) called and delivered the two purits to my home. Before making cash payment, I have asked the cash bill of purit. But the above executives given a order request form and they told this is the cash bill. After they went from my home, I called the purit help line, and I informed the such things. After two days the executive came and given one invoice. The invoice generated from [Ganapathy SW2(Sree Maruthi Distributers), Old No 1351/New No 292, Sathy Road, Venkatesapuram, Ganapathy, Coimbatore 641 006. The invoice No is :Inv 1509/CBU/1853-58, Dated 10.02.2009. Also the invoice not found the cash receipt seal and the warranty details not yet mentioned.

I asked the executives for one more bill for my another purit. Again they informed that it will delivered with in two days. But till now I have not received the cash bill.

In the delivery time, I requested to executives to deliver one filter to Tirupur. The person informed that they have the circle weekly once to Tirupur and the filter will be deliver to tirupur on saturday without any charges.

But on saturday, the person came and collect money Rs.100/- for delivery charges. Again they collected Auto charges at our delivery point. Which all the things are purly not acceptable.

Also While we putting water in purit, once the bottom drum filled, when we drop the water in top drum, its overflow. and the glasses are getting moiture.

Now I need the one more cash bill for the said purit, and some experienced person come to check the filter is working fine.

Probably they have worst service records, I have called thrice once for order a kit replacement and twice for complaints, every time they say that people will come in two days but now it has been 2 weeks no one has turned up, in Kolkata
i m recently suffering frm this battery replacement problem, i hv called them many times, ten days hv passed, we hv also recommened two more family, but after ur service, i m not going to recommened anybody to purchase this purifier.
Hello friends...thanks for your opinions...we need water purifier...we are going to buy PureIT water purifier...coz its a lowest cost...@1600/- only...today we call to "Aqua Guard" company water purification company for demo...he came and explain all the things...they offer price @7900/-...then we are planning to search other companies...

The comments which has been has been posted by the people is not only a complaint but this is a pain & frustration towards the company as well as company brand name. Customer care response is so irritating that they are not properly responding to the problems. In the attitude towards the complaint there is no STRONGLY AGREE kind of thing otherwise I would have chosen that. I have already decided not to go for any sorts of products recommended by “HINDUSTAN LEVER LTD" in future. For all the people observations check out for any recent complaint no. you will be shocked because still unsolved cases are pending. Now I came to now why our people do not believe in INDIAN GOODS...? Due to this kind of cheating companies, instead of going for these kinds of company goods we can go for local goods which is more reliable, durable & at least 7 months valid.
I thought of going for eureka Forbes which is India’s no.1 water purifier which gives a excellent service preferably I can Trust

This is to inform you that I have been requesting the customer care for a battery replacement of pureit water purifier for almost a month. I have made several calls to the customer care, only to hear that they need 2 more days. However the new device was delivered to us within minutes of ordering it over phone, but we now have to suffer for a battery replacement. I just want to know when will the battery be replaced ultimately. This device was purchased for our safety, which it now fails to provide. If this continues, then I fear that the company will soon earn a bad name.

So that’s the reason I am raising the compliant. Santosh told me he already raised a request against leakage of Pureit Water Purifier.

this is the worst product of the hindustan lever products and service is worstest.
I ordered for battery replacement one months back, but still no response from dhanbad office of the Company. We have made more than 20 calls to the service department, but in vain. If the Company is not in a position to do after sales service, then WHY SELL SUCH PRODUCT AND CHEAT THE PUBLIC. The call centre service is a useless one and also waste of time. I strongly condemn this and if necessary, ready to go to Consumer Court also.

My complain is for non replacement of battery after making request on 15 days back. My request no. is 09hrh[protected] and compain no. is[protected] and contact number is [protected]. whenever i made a call at toll free number they told us that within three working days they will replce the same. Pls inform that when these 3 working days are over.

One more thing i want to inform you that if your company is not able to give after sale service, Pls stop selling he product. pls donot play with the life of public.
I totally agree with the comments on the pathetic after sales service or the so called help line, which incidentally is of no help at all... I am facing the same problem with regards to the battery replacement issue, and the call center says that they do not have the phone number of the distributor!!! Wonder which age these guys are living in????

Very Bad Customer Service.

On 22nd April, 2009. I have ordered for the replacement of the battary in the Pureit. Still now I did not receive any service from Pureit. I have been calling to them there are giving me the Order No. and Complaint No. but no service. When ever I call there are telling me my complaint has been forwarded to higher authorities. Still no service . Iam not at all satistied with service of Hindustan Uniliver Limited
I bought the Pureit water filter in Chennai 3 years back and there was no problem of battery kit supply till i got transferrd to Indore. My contact to the local office, visits had yielded a supply of battery kit once when i threatened to leave the filter in front of the Safe Zone.
I am back to square and the last few days my efforts to reach the customer service for a battery kit has become an Herculean task.

Why does HUL sell a product if they cannot service it.
I strongly agree for " Wrost Customer Service Level " by Hindustan Unilever - PureIT water purifier. PLEASE KEEP AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT. I complained one month ago to replace the battery kit but no response. The customer care executives are horrible. They dont even know how to talk to their customers.

HINDUSTAN UNILEVER's/ PURE IT — WATER FILTER CHANGING, COMPLAINT RAISED

Dear Sir,

This is to bring to your notice i asked for replacement of water filter( purchasing of water filter) on 21st April 2009 by calling to customer care and received no: S09-HYD[protected], They said it will take 3 days to get and executive will come and replace. After waiting for 9 days called back to customer care on 1st May and said the same and lodged the complaint ( complaint no: C[protected]. The Customer care executive i spoke to her on 1st may confirmed that she will take this matter to higher autories and see that this will be closed as early as possible of 2 days.

Today that is on 7th May 2009 when I called up again to customer care they said that complaint was closed on 1st May and call transfered to Mr. Nagaraj and asked to call on number [protected]. Spoke to him at 9.06 am on 7th May, 2009, he said that he will call back to me in 30 mts time to find and resolve the issue. But end of the day no one turned up and resolved the issue.

Tried to reach Mr.Nagaraj at 3.00 pm on 7th May not lifted due to busy. Tried 5 times at 8.00Pm not lifted the phone.

It is not the service am expecting, i am giving the business to the company in this respect no one turned.. If i ask for service then imagine the neglegance.

Tried to escalate the same to higher authorities, but complaint mail id not given, instead gave customer care mail id.

Req your help.
