[Resolved]  Homeshop18 — wrong product features and refund delay

Respected Sir/Madom,

Here I purchased one Olympus fe26 12 MP Digital Camera from HomeShop18. I come to know about this product on website www.homeshop18.com. According to their product specification there is voice recording feature is available in this model of Digital But when I ordered and received it I found there is no such voice recording feature is available. I immediatly informed to Homeshop18 help desk no. [protected] but they are not ready to believe on it, they are only telling to check the mannual. I also confirmed it from the olympus Service centre but then also they(homeshop18) are not properly responding to solve my problem. After so many followups they given me Request no. 2225526 on 27th oct.2009 and after that lots of time I called to them but everytime they were only telling me that this product has voice recording feature. I told them to check the same product from their side but they are not ready to check it. at the end I called for refund and as per their instruction sent it by their TNT courier on 17th Nov.2009, from that day I calling them for feedbakc or status of my request. Their every excutive giving different-different answer that call after 2 days it will take 48 hours or it will take 10 working days or 15 working days and now telling 20 days. Today on 30th Nov.2009 when I called them to check status, the replied that still they have no update from their vendor.

1) From more then 1 month they have no update about my complain.
2) Their excutives are not helpful to understand and to solve customer's problem.
3) Still they were showing wrong add of this product and misguiding to general
public.
4) They were not accepting their mistakes, they have no proper updates and
taking too much long time for any process.
5) For selling product they were calling without fail but when customer facing
problem with their product they never responding properly.
6) Still I waiting for my refund.

sir, i purchased a microwave oven on 12th of feb from homeshop18.as i ordered only on telephonic conversation, as my requirement was for bake and grill your agent advised me to purchase whirlpool grill microwave as it also has grill and bake option which cost 3999/- frm your store and its origional price is 8500/-(as your agent told me that).i trusted you and ordered it immediately.when i recieved the product i came to know that it does'nt have baking option and its origional price is only 6000/-.as my requirement was baking option i was not satisfied with the product you sent me, because you have told me lie.i immediately called you to please change the product as its not of my use no matter if it will cost more i am willing to pay you more .i recieved a complain no.3552473 and told to call after 1 march.when i alled you your agent told me hat he had canceled the complain and not only hat he even harrased me by holding call 20-25 minutes and disconecting it itself notonly ones they don that four times.as i am harrased by your service and cheated by you, this is my last message to you to change it otherwise iam looking forward for legal actions.as it was totally your fault, you can not cheat your customer.i also have proof for it.

whirlpool 25 ltr grill microwave oven — Non deliver even after one month by Homeshop 18

I have booked a whirlpool 25 ltrs grilled microwave oven through HOMESHOP 18 in last week of Sep-10 and also paid Rs.6000/- cash before delivery and in leu just got a Male wrist watch against my order no.[protected]. Till now I haven’t received neither the microwave nor the remaining free gifts besides the wrist watch. I am in immense mental pressure, b,coz whenever I contact the customer care I get the same answer that product and gifts will be delivered to you by this week end. It continued for 3 weeks. Being harassed I talked to Supervisor MR. Kavish Srivastav on 2nd of November who assured me to deliver the product within this week 110 % and I will get courier information within a day or two. Then I called on 4th of November 2010 but to my surprise Mr Srivastav didn’t take my call and forward it to Mr.Kanwaljit Singh (Manager On duty) who said that Kavish reporting me and I am senior to him. Then he again assured me on 4.11.2010 that definitely I will deliver your product by the week end and also you will get your remaining free gifts even before and plz contact me on 9th of Nov 2010. By that time you will have already got your product otherwise I will confirm you. But to my surprise when I called today CC said that Mr Singh is on weekly off today. I replied If his weekly off is on Tuesday then why he said me to contact on Tuesday ? So CC then referred my call to another Supervisor who assured as before please wait for this weekend. Then hearing this I irritated and told them that one satisfied customer can bring 10 other customers but one dissatisfied customer may stop 100 other customers because negative is accepted easily in society. During this conversation the said Supervisor disconnected the call saying that I can not hear you so I am disconnecting the call.

Just see how unfair is the situation.

Please help me how can I get rid of this situation and get my products in good consition. For the last one month I am eagrly waiting for the products so that think for new bookings from my side as well as from my neighborhood also. But HS 18 does not want it.
