[Resolved]  Honeybee Appliances & Electronics Private Limited — Mislead, faulty analysis and wrongly charge for parts

This is to bring to the public notice that this company based in Hyderabad cheats its customers by blaming them and charging rates which are atleast higher by 10-15%. I own and use a table top RO system and bore water softner system from them since last 4 years. During its maintenace, the engineer found the RO system's key RO filter without some rubber bushes and rings and conveniently deduced that to be intentionally done by the customer and that it was repaired outside in a small repair shop. They deduced it directly without asking me the customer. And would not hear my side of the story so much to disbelief. And this based on their past experiences with other customers who indeed took it to outside shop. Without understanding genuineness of the issue and given that i always get it done by their engineers they are BLAMING it on the consumer.

Srinivas Kota the manager for this region also talks no different than his site engineer. Since this is how they treat, deduce and manage a problem, i have decided to discontinue anyway broken product from this company.

Also the cost indicated of filters in desktop RO was told as 450/- per filter and this RO filter costing 2700. Where as the same filters from other companies are costing 300/- and 2200/-.

All i have to say is, their parts are expensive, have no brochures with cost indicated, sells them based on customers' sentiment, service engineers' do not respond and reach within their usual 48 hour window and all above that their products are of cheap and unreliable built. Honestly, i spent about 7000/- so far over the last 4 years on repairing and servicing their products almost every 6 months. And they still choose to be lame about it. But blaming customers' fault without correct data is no acceptable and tolerable.

Humble request that please do not buy their products and spend money unnecessarily

I have purchased a similar RO from this company and I live in Kavadiguda area. I bought the machine on my friend's referral. since one year i have so many complaints and have replaced 4 parts till now. I had the same filter problem and they charged me 400x3 = 1200 + 2700 (for RO filter) which is toal of 3900. this has been just an year since i bought it.
