[Resolved]  Hp — HP-450 Laptop - not functioning, poor customer service under warranty

I have bought HP-450 laptop on[protected], through flipkart.com. I thought, since I have bought HP branded laptop, it will work just fine. But, it has been having me many issues ever since I have bought it like some keys were getting stuck, unable to boot up, etc.

Since my laptop is under 1 year warranty, I have already raised multiple complaints with HP customer-care. But the service engineer has not been able to resolve the issues. I have escalated this multiple people within HP support team, but its of "no use".
1) The approach of replacing parts one-by-one seem "trial-and-error" method. My laptop has been opened many times (completely opened), with no resolution so far.
2) Due to frequent handling of laptop, there are some scratches on the front-panel now. The laptop doesn't look a new one now.
3) The part which are used for replacement are all "refurbished parts".So, even though I have bought a new laptop, core parts in my laptop would be refurbished ones.
With all this, I have been asking for complete unit replacement, but HP team is not agreeing to do so. I am stuck with a laptop which is of no use.

Please help to resolve this case.

HP(HEWLETT PACKARD) — Poor Customer Service

Purchased HP Pavilion laptop and registered my product for the Digi Cam Offer. Sent Demand Draft of the mentioned amount along with all relevant documents. Supposed to receive gift within 4 - 6 weeks. Its past 8 weeks and yet to receive the same. On corresponding with the authorities over mail no satisfied response is coming. Really a matter of shame for a reputed concern like HP to bluff customers.

HP — Not able to get efficient technical support

Sir i am really dissapionted by the technical support u r giving.I had a problem in recovering my laptop factory setting using the one i had created initially.I ordered a recovery disc for my notebook . But i couldnot able to recover using the disc.I had informed again & this is the third time got the disc & still i m facing the same problem.I had given my notbook to nearest HP service station & they confirmed as the problem is in the recovery disc which i got from u.When i got my second disc i informed to one o[censored]r executive & she convinced me as the last two DVD which i got were of same type & may not be compactible to my notebook, so she will send another type.But today i got the third DVD & indeed its the previous type only.So please stop playing with the customers .I m really fadeoff of calling u.I[censored] r not able to solve a minor sofware issue the what can i say.I m being in touch with u from last 4 months & till now i did not get any solution from urside.Please do take this matter as an serious issue & short it out.

Please call me after 6pm otherwise on weekends(sat & sun day)

Hewlett-Packard — Hewlett-Packard Use Less service

I purchased a HP Pavilion tx1218au Notebook PC in the year of 2007 September. the mother board of the laptop is burnt (As per the HP service team) on the last day of the warranty of the laptop. I have given the laptop for repair which is around 2 months back and still the HP servicing center people were saying it will take 4 more weeks. They are saying the part is not available in india and saying they are not running the company and asking me to take the laptop back with a rash voice. I am planning to file a case in consumer court on this and will update this issue to the Media as well.

Hewlett packard laptop — Cheating by Convergent Technologies-Hewlett Packard

Dear Sir

I have bought Laptop Warranty extension package in February 2009 for 2 Years from CONVERGENT TECHNOLOGIES-BANGALORE Authorised Hewlett Packard Service provider. They have emailed me that my Laptop warranty is about to expire and if i want i can get it extended for 2 years. After paying them all the charges for Warranty Extension for 2 years they have just extended the warranty for one year as seen from their Certificate. When i contacted them they said it will be done is short while. But it was not extended. I was regularly calling them to extend the warranty but always they use to give me weired reply. I told them that give what ever is the reason for not extending the warranty in Writing bu they are not willing to give the same. They are talking very rudely with me as they think that they are doing any favour to me. I also approached HP to sort out the issue but they were unable to take any action. They are just giveing metal torture to the customer.

I request you to kindly help me out to get the warranty extended for 2 years as promised.

Hewlett Packard — HP Service Warranty is a Fake. HP is a cheat.

I made the mistake of buying a HP premium laptop from the US around 3 months ago. The laptop was : HP laptop HDx 18t 1200. A premium (expensive) notebook.

HP's sales department assured me (and still says) that the laptop has service warranty in India and if anything goes wrong with it I will be able to get the warranty repairs in India. Even HP's service support chat executive (US) also says the same.

The laptop stopped working when I brought it to India and the Indian HP service center have absolutely refused to service it. These bunch of losers never gave me a good response. There is some chap named Ankur Sachdeva who claims to the Support supervisor but apparently he supervises nothing, because even after repeated calls he never took any action, and always assured me that he would get back to me on 'Wednesday'. Weeks have rolled by.

I have chat records of HP's US sales and support representatives who still assert that the laptop is valid for service in India and the local service center should provide service. But the local service center does not care about customers at all.

Q1. Why is HP India not honoring its commitment to the customer?
Q2. When the local service center is behaving so badly, why has HP still not fired them?
Q3. Is it my fault that I trusted HP and brought their laptop? The biggest IT purchase mistake I made?

Please learn from my mistakes. Do not buy a HP laptop. Their service is terrible, their service representatives are a bunch of jokers who will keep you hanging in the middle for weeks without a reply.

Stupid laptop. Stupid Service. Stupid Attitude.

On[protected] Convergent Technologies, Bangalore collected from me a sum of Rs.6742/ towards Service Extension for a period of two years in respect of my HP Note Book DV3005TX under Quote ID 200810U48 . did not receive any certificate extending the warranty period and I learn that the service extension pai for by me has not been registered at all.

HP — FALSE WARRANTY

I HAVE PURCHASED HP PRESARIO DESKTOP SERIAL NUMBER INA8220CQL. AND MODEL NUMBER COMPAQ SG3450IL.

IT WAS SAID THAT IT HAS 3 YEARS OF WARRANTY BUT AFTER 1 YEAR CD DRIVE PART GETS DAMAGED.

AND I COMPLAINT TO HP BUT HP SAID THAT IT HAS ONLY 1 YEAR WARRANTY.
HP company is an useless company. My son purchased lap top of HP make. They gave warranty for 1 year. After 1 year 9 days it was gone out of order. The HP authorized firm at HYD tested it and said that LCD went off and to replace it the cost would be around 24, 000/- rupees. This is ridiculous. You can just imagine how cheap material HP people are using and penalising the customers.

My suggestion not to go to HP products. Instead we can for a local market where the lap top comes for Rs.20000/- and even it goes off after one year the will be no loss.

I have given 4 mails to HP customer care to repair it free of cost or at nominal charge. They did not even read my mails and there is no reponse till now.

Hewlett packard laptop — bad customer service

I am extremely dissatisfied by the service provided to me by the Hp service center in Hyderabad. I went there for the first time on 15/11/2010 with a complaint in regard to my DVD drive unable to play DVDs. They returned the laptop after 3 days stating that a new DVD drive has been installed. I during that time also complained on there poor, untimely and rude assistance however no action was taken.

After a few days again on 8/12/2010 I took my laptop as my HDD had crashed and DVD was not still not working. I was told that the laptop will be returned back to me after 3-4 working days however after regular follow ups, calls made from only my side I finally got it a week later after a made a personal call to there Manager

Even then the DVD work was not done. I was told to wait for an hour in the service center after which they asked me to go home as it was time for the center to close. I complained again and I was told that the Manager will give me a call to discuss the same.

He called me the very next day and i was assured that follow up will be made and the DVD would be repaired.

It has been 2 weeks since then and neither have I received any calls nor has my complaint been taken seriously.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided. The center at Hyderabad has not only made me call them a zillion times without any solution from there side but has also been unable to solve a minor issue.

The staff has been uncooperative and unresponsive.

Please help with the same. I have all necessary details and papers with me.

HP — Poor Service

We had lodged complaint with HP customer care to resolve the problem with HP make Desktop which is not working for past one week. Case ID of concerned complaint is [protected]. Almost everyday we are getting calls from different sources regarding deployment of skilled engineer to the site to attand the said problem but till this date no one has reported to look into the matter. Such poor service from esteemed giant MNC organisation is far beyond imagination and not at all acceptable by any means. Undoubtedly they are to be listed in deceiver' Q.

HP Laptop — multi issue in laptop

in my lappy, there are many types of problem will found. companey will not provide servive in warrenty period $some issue will create by hp engg. so, plz help me and recover my amount spend at the time of purchase.

complain about hp gas

i have applied hp gas connection on two days before they told that you will receive a letter within 3 days application of gas .May i know that i receive the letter is a ordinary or registered . deepak.[protected]@gmil.com
