[Resolved]  HP - Laptop — Extended Warranty Documents

I purchased an hp Pavilion notebook on 14th June 2009.

After the purchase, I inquired from hp-India about 2 years extended warranty. HP-India in turn asked me to contact M/s RT Outsourcing Services Ltd. New Delhi. I then received their quote fronm RT for the same.
Later, I paid additional amount for extension of warranty for another two years to M/s RT Outsourcing Services Ltd. New Delhi on 10th July 2009.
After a long wait (2 weeks), I received the warranty extension certificate that has errors like date of purchase mentioned as 25th April 2009. and validity of extended warranty as April 10, 2011 (this is not even an year after expiry of one year's original warranty i.e. June 13, 2010). When I brought these to the notice of RT Outsourcing, I was informed that mistakes were due to the reason that I had not sent them a copy of the purchase receipt. It is ridiculous. At no point did they ask me for it in first place even when their representative was calling me almost daily ever since I asked them for quotation. Even after sending them a scanned copy of the receipt on 25th July, I am yet to receive the correct warrany certificated / documents.

I have brought this to the notice of one Mr. Mohan D Kumar MDM-PSG Consumer Care Pack Services HP - India Chennai Office. (mohan-d.[protected]@hp.com) - Cell No. (91) [protected]. Inspite of my emails and phone call to him, Still I am yet to receive the documents.

Dear Sir/Ma'am,

We purchased a notebook bearing sr. no. CNU8481JLQ product no.: FR994UA from Best Buy USA, now its AC Adaptor has stopped working so we contacted to HP Customer care (RT Outsourcing) in Agra, according to them this notebook is not cover under warranty. However we have already get changed its parts previously also through Agra customer care. HP warranty status check website is also showing the warranty period till 01/15/2010, after that we have contacted on ph no.[protected]HP Case ID #: [protected]) and they advise to contact US technical support through chat, and US technical support clearly assured us to change our adaptor in India and provided the case number through a mail as below.

Waiting for your kind support. Kindly advise and change our adaptor ASAP, as our daily working is suffering due to the same.

Kindly give me your contact no. in return mail.

HP Pavilion DV6000 — Regards non receipt of Care pack for hp pavilion Laptop

Dear Sir
I had Purchased a two year Additional warranty ( Care pack ) for my hp lap top from an Authorised dealer of Simtech computronics -- sagar tech plaza, ak road, sakinaka Andheri east mumbai in november 2008.
i have just recieved a reciept from this dealer.i have still not receieved any reply or the care pack till date.

i have contacted many concerned officers of Hp india, but they are giving vague replies..
please note the my 1 year warranty has expired on 13 november 2008 ..But i have paid for the care pack in september 2008.

hp pavilion laptops-India — Responsibility and indifference displayed by hp service centers to customers

I am really disappointed with the service hp is providing its customers.Just shows the lack of commitment they have.I can see only the smiling faces when they instill us into purchasing their products and once it's done, they hardly show any care. I purchased a dv6 pavilion laptop on Dec 20,2009. And now about 15-20 days back to be precise, it displayed " Consider replacing your battery" and the battery backup wont even hold 5 minutes of charge. On dec 16,2010 I take it to hp authorized service center,Maha Electonics-Pondicherry.They tell me they need to run a battery test and send the reports to a technical team. On Dec 17 around 5.45 pm I get a call from the service center telling me the technical team has passed my battery and it cannot be replaced.I clearly understood the credibility of their technical team then.When a battery cannot hold 5 minutes of charge what inaccurate tests has it passed. Is was clear to me then, that just to cut down on service costs they have a so called technical team. Then the service center blames me of inappropriate usage of the battery.When your company cannot manufacture a battery that could last for 1 year why the hell are they still in the business of manufacturing laptops.Adding to that they have given a year's warranty which their company is clearly not abiding to. 3 days I have been running around seeking a proper service.I made a complaint online through [protected]@hp.com and sent a scanned copy of my invoice to them.I repeatedly called customer services only to get no service.They might as well change their hp service center to hp training center. And I'm sure they will reply to only after my warranty period has expired and then give me a reason stating that "I am so sorry Sir, but your warranty has expired".I will provide you any details you want.My case id no:[protected] Product serial no:CNF9454GMW Product model No:VV271PA Product name:dv6-1319TX. This is why I have approached consumer complaints.Please do something about it.

Hewlett Packard — DEFICIENCY OF SERVICE

BOUGHT A HP TOUCHSMART PC UNDER 3 YEAR WARRANTY ( STILL UNDER WARRANTY). COMPUTER STARTED GIVING PROBLEMS WITHIN A FEW MONTHS. FINALLY THE COMPANY REPLACED IT. YET THE SECOND ONE ALSO STARTED HANGING AND IT FINALLY CRASHED. LODGED A COMPLAIN ON FEB 5 SERVICE PEOPLE SAID THE HARD DISC HAS CRASHED ...ALL MY PRECIOUS DATA, PHOTOGRAPHS ETC WERE TOTALLY LOST. AFTER THAT TODAY IS FEBRUARY 14 AND TILL NOW NO SUPPORT FROM HP IN SPITE OF REPEATED REMINDERS.

This to bring to your notice that I have take an extension in my warranty , I have give a chq in the month of august and got cleared from my account on 19th Aug 2011. Amounted 6500/-.
still now i have not got my extended warranty certificate.
its more than 1 month.

sir maine laptop liya tha 24october ko jisme pehle to bluetooth ka problem tha phir heating ka problem aaya phir co. ne two times enginner bheje. engineers ne isko do bar to khol diya ab bol rahe hai ise service center drop karo waha par sari checkings hogi. batao sir two month mein is laptop ka kachra kar diya aur d.o.a bhi nahi de rahe hai plz aap mere ko iske bare mein bataye ki main kya karu
i am also facing a problem with HP laptop they are not extending the warranty.It seems poor customer response.
even products are having much & frequent failure than others
Who will take care of my HP laptop at chennai . is any proper dealer is agree for extended warranty.

Moreen Computers Hosur — service after sales with in warranty period

I bought a computer at HOSUR Moreen computer. Know that computer was not working I was already give the complete to HOSUR Moreen computer. But when I was given complete that shop was still lock. Why they are come to sales. Please give me the solution.
i purchased HP 16-2016 TX before 10 months. and i have serviced it 4 times. every time its display panel gets damage. and now where i am currently living, here is no service centre.. i have mailed to hp also... but they always says that contact service centre. now what should i do. i never recommend any one to purchase HP notebooks.
