my hp laptop dv 2214 tu recovery got corrupted. so i need the recovery cd for the instaling vista in my hp laptop ...n we want to know the method for installing xp on this model as drivers create problem on this laptop on hp ...so tell me the way that ..how i can run xp without problem

hi i am having hp dv2601tu. n i am using wind vista.
i have forgot to make dvd of recovery.
and now some software doesnt work like fingerprint sensor.
so i need recovery dvd.

I have a notebook dv2601tu. I forgot to create recovery disc. I also want to degrade it to Win XP but not able to find suitable drivers. Plzz help me in locating the drivers.

I have purchased HP Laptop 2601 TU in November 2007.
unfortunately i could'nt prepare recovery CD.
Now my window has corrupt.
can u arrange recovery CD of same laptop.

i am installed the windows xp-sp2 on my hppavillion dv 2601tu laptop, but if i install the any software product, an error occured, "windows installer" not completly installed..
please send procedure to the above problem.

I have purchased HP Laptop 2601 TU in january 2008.
unfortunately i could'nt prepare recovery CD.
i was doing the partition of c drive using paragon software
as it required, i restarted the laptop
after 20 mins it went to sleep mode
i pressed the power botton annd restart it
and it shows a black screen and
show "interrupted operation: insert the recovery CD or other recovery media
and reboot your pc..."
i hav no recovery disc what should i do..??
