Unexpected billing
I have two credit card from said Bank. i am using these cards since last 3 year. up to last jun-2007 there were no issue regarding billing. In july, 2007 i have recieved monthly bills where Rs-4000/- was appearing extra which I never used. I have made so many calls to customer care to resolve this issue but no action taken. after that i have'nt recieved any bills containing breakup. i got just phone calls for minimum payments, few times i have paid that also. further they are just keep adding late payment charges without sending any bills. Now they are threatening me over phone that they will take legal action. Please help me.

My self Deval Shah and my Request no is[protected], I want to know what is the current amount is due Last 5 months ago in my account. I Request to hsbc bank to cancel my draft of icici bank, last 7 month ago. and hsbc bank was givan a request no. as above but every month hsbc bank payment was updating my adreses and my mobile.
i realy bilive that why did not taken any action in last 6 month of hsbc bank. and every time i called hsbc creditcard cutomer care but not cunect line to disscuse my matter .plz i request You one time disscus to hsbc bank. my mobile no.[protected].

I really very disappointed by this worst service.

regulary paying the out standing amount on date but unfortunately i could not pay the full amounts of the credit card in time but the finance charges & Service charges are Rs 12, 166, in this request regarding payment i[censored] will reverse the amount.consider some amount and i will pay entire credit card amount from three months .

i surprise to now that you make the payment to TATA AIG genral incurance company ltd. from my credit card no. [protected].
I never give my concent to the abow said Tata AIG for didacting the amount from my credit card.You make the payment illegaly to the Tata AIG amountin Rs.20751/- dated- 18 april 2009.without giving me any information abow such payment.
Please reverse abow said payment in my credit card account and inform me through sms on my cell no. [protected]

HSBC Bank Credit Card — Unexpected Billing.

Dear All. Last year (2008) in the month of Feb I payed the complete payment there was a due abount of 0.65 Rupees (64 Paise). I lost my card. and also i wanted to cancell my card. I called there helpdesk and asked to block the old card. then i told i dont want a replacement but i want to cancell the card. for that I was told to make the complete payment first. I said i have already paid the amount and only due is 65 Paise, I also asked whether i also have to pay that. for this I was told no need it will be redeamed from my points and for cancellation of card I was told a request will be sent to the concern dept. after that I never received any statement nor any call from HSBC. i checked online for a couple of times to see whetere thre are any other charges on my card and found none. after that i forgot about the card also. Today in June 2009 I receive a statement from HSBC Saying i have to pay 3328.68 Rupees. what is this for i dont know. the worst part is i am not in India anymore I dont have any information related to the card or its internet username and password. neither i am able to find the email ID of HSBC Call Center. I really dont know what to do now. Please help my Email id is musheer.[protected]@gmail.com

It is draw your kind attention that I am one of your valuable customer since last one year. Last month, while telephonic communication to your executive regarding annual credit card charges, my primary and secondary both cards had been closed by your executive. I would like to confirm you I had given request to close my secondary card only as it is not in my use.
Further I request you to please activate my primary card & remove / refund annual charges as it was said to me that these cards are free of annual charges.

HSBC — Balance Transfer not received. Ask them to cancel many times but they do not cancel

Dear sir/madam,

I had requested a balance transfer of amount 12000 from my HSBC Credit card on 19th May 09.
I have not received the Balance Transfer cheque order, so I e-mailed them multiple times to cancel the balance transfer from their side. But they do not cancelled. They ask me to fill a bond of Rs 200 for cancellation of BT.
Why do I pay bond of Rs 200 for cancellation when I have not received the BT ? I have even threatened not to pay the due amount if the bank donot cancel it from their side automatically After customer complaint that I have not received the Balanace Transfer send by HSBC bank.

Is it my fault that I have not received the Balanace Transfer cheque from HSBC ?

Last day I have received my monthly statement of HSBC Credit card showing the above said Balanace transfer amount of Rs 12000.
Is it FAIR ?
I dont think so.
PLEASE DO THE NEEDFUL

HSBC Credit Card — No action taken for changes laid for Balance transfer

I had opted for balance transfer of Rs. 75, 000 around 1 year and 8 months ago. This DD was not used by me and hence had to request for cancellation of the same. It took me around one year and six month to get the exact process and cancelling the DD. In the mean time I was receiving phone calls so I made the minimum payment of Rs. 7000/-. Then I provided the indemnity bond and they reverted back the Rs. 75, 000 which was reflecting as overdue against my credit card. But this was not the only thing in the mean time the finance charges did get accumulated and now around Rs. 45, 000 are still shown as out standing. In the mean time a HSBC contact person called me and asked me to make final settlement payment by paying Rs. 3900/- which will resolve the issues. Being very much frustrated I still paid that.

However as of today no action is been taken and still around Rs. 45, 000/- are out standing. I have already paid around Rs. 10, 900/- for the balance transfer facility which I never utilised.

I am helpless and tried calling all centres helpline no one is responding It is very much surprising for me that a customer has not used the balance transfer but still is forced to pay the interest.

I kindly request you to look into this and help me to resolve this ASAP. I had submitted all the required documents to HSBC Indemnity bond, Payments receipt & Previous communications

I would like to inform u that i am your customer from 3 year, till to day i did not pay any kind of annual fees for my card but suddenly i got annual fees in this month of statement, as i have life time free card, when i got this card i have asked twise time whether this card is life time free or not? then they told me that yes you have life time free card.so i will not pay this amount, as i am your good customer and i have good credit in your bank.so please wave this amount.otherwise i will not use this card in future.i will distroy the card.rep soon.my card no.is [protected].

But i am life time free member. On dated 03.08.09 I contacted to your customer care, she told me that this amount you have to pay.

I am also a victim of HSBC credit card. While I am forced to stop using their card. We had enquiry about a bill item. It was not never revealed. At last a person from HSBC call center asked us to pay a particular amount to round off. We paid. Now again, they have sent a bill for no purchases from our side. I am surprised by their working. The guys at call center ... one person named Shiva whom I spoke last time does not even understand what an international call is. If HSBC is organized and able to see the records as they boast ... he has taken my 40-minutes for nothing. He was asking me to complain through the website. The website says pick up the phone and talk. Very contradicting. He said he would connect to his superior / manager. It was a bluff. He put me on hold telling manager not on seat or busy and again on hold. Is this the way an international bank works. I wont pay any charges they make just like that.If you have a HSBC card, first thing you do is tear that into 4 pieces and send back to them. You will always remember me giving this idea for life.

I have done my final settlement on dt. 10 th of August 2009 INR 17, 960 /- with your payment collection authorized agency SERCO BPO PVT. LTD, - New Delhi with four equal installment i.e. INR 4490/- . In the same tme i have given four PDC check ( ie. INR 4490 x 4 Nos) to SERCO I have received the receipt ( Original HSBC receipt) for the same. In the month of August one installment have been already credited in your account.


When i did cross checked with your phone banking ( i.e.Phone no.[protected], they said their is no any such kind of document. As per suggestion of your HSBC representative i have done stop the payment.

You are requested to please help out at earliest possible & please send the final settlement letter email id & registered postal address so that i can make payment smoothly.

I am employed with Everest Industries Limited having office at Mumbai. In or about Feb 2006, your marketing representative visited my Thane office and gave demo for the usage features of your card. While I was inquiring about the features of your card, your marketing representative obtained my signatures on some forms and obtained some documents from me for purpose of noting my name as “interested member” for filling inquiry form. Subsequently your Bank Credit Card bearing No[protected] was posted to me at my office address.

I say that without my using your card, your Bank sent me statement for Rs.210/-.approximately. I say that I immediately called your customer care number putting forth my grievance and called upon them to cancel my card and terminate services with immediate effect. I also called upon them to sent me letter for “No claim”, to which they showed their inability and stated that same is granted only in case where there is any dispute above Rs.1000/-, however they assured me that card is cancelled and services are terminated. I say that subsequent thereof, I have not received any statement from your bank till date.

I say that from last about 15 days, I am receiving sms from your bank for payment of Rs.4570/- towards aforesaid credit card pending bills. I had never imagine of such conduct from Big Banking Corporation like yours. I say that without usage of your services, how can I be made and forced to pay charges levied by you. I put forth my grievances with your customer care at Ram Maruti Rd branch, Thane who showed their inability to locate my bills and pending dues. They were also unable to provide me any Bank statement though I was ready and willing to bear the cost for same. I say that I also spoke to Mr.66667070 of your Bank collection centre at Mumbai,[protected] who responded to me rudely as if I am bring defaulter / criminal. I say that thereafter I spoke to your Delhi Recovery Cell at Telephone No[protected]/45023968 with Mr.Basant, who was also not able to resolve to my problem or provide me statisfactory reply.

The said act of your to grab heavy & exorbitant amount from me for no fault of mine speaks of your volumes and attitudes to procure money by adhering to illegal means & making trap for the innocent customers like me.

I am therefore now constrained to put forth my grievance in writing for necessary action and resolution of my grievance. Request you please look into this matter and advise what should be my next step.
