HTC Tytn II — SMS , Network Issue

Dear Sir/Madam,

Kindly note that I am not able to send SMS more than 160 characters from my HTC TYTN II handset. Earlier I was able to send SMS more than 160 characters but all of sudden I am facing the problem. I called up the Tollfree number [protected] (Technical Support Center as per IVR) on 05.04.2010 & spoke to Ms Poonam. I narrated my problem to her , she guided me to Re - Boot my handset, I have done that as per her instruction but my problem was not resolved. She confirm me that she will get bact to me on 06.04.2010 but she didn't turned up. Again after 1 week I called up the Tollfree number & spoke to Mr Nishant, he again listen to my problem & kept me on hold for 2 minutes, when I insisted to speak to the supervisor he confirmed that there is no supervisor or senior person available. Its really very frustrating and bad experience with the Technical support Executives.

Would request you to please help to get my problem resolved.

HTC Touch Diamond — Gather a group of active people who are unsatisfied with HTC mobiles

Guys, like most of you i am also facing so many problems with htc. I would like to accumulate like minded people and show HTC that we Indians wont tolerate any bad services and they asre liable to problems. I would further update this post based on the replies i get.

HTC Touch Pro 2 — handling negligence

I have a htc touch pro 2 from t-mobile. About 2 weeks ago my phone died while i was driving home. I plugged the phone to charge as soon as i got home. i noticed about 2 hours later my phone was booting up to the windows screen then shutting off. i called htc right away, and the gentlemen told me that i had to do a hard reset. i performed the hard reset and soft reset. he then instructed me on downloading the new rom to the phone, but after 2 hours on the phone and updating the software, nothing. He then instructed me on having the phone repaired since my device was still under warranty. I shipped the phone out the very next day and waited until today to call to check on the status of my phone. I was then informed that a void sticker was broken wand that my warranty was voided, and that the repair was going to cost $370.00. I became upset knowing that the phone was never tampered with. He told me that there was nothing that could be done. i argued that it was not broken when the phone was sent. I checked right before mailing the phone off to them. I told him that there technician must have broke the seal not realizing what he was doing, and that it was probably a mistake and he was covering his by claiming it was tampered with. I have researched this online and have found many people have had the same or similar problem with htc. Do not buy htc products!!! they are all scam artist!!

i ve htc touch 3g...i was using it since 1 yr...there was a problem of screen alignment since 1week...i tried aligning de screen but it proved in vain...i made hardreset, , , nw wen i switch it on, at first it displays screen alignment...no progression frm dat point...screen is not getting aligned at all...could anyone help me out de way to get it repaired?

htc diamond 2 — under Warranty

i have own a htc diamond 2 mobile of htc company ,my handset has an new problem,is colour has been puffed out like a wall paint.my Battery is also not working more than a hour i have gone to service center they told me it we do not give warranty to anybody.

I have HTC 7400 touch mobile phone purchased 18months ago. Its screen display is anyhow shifted to right by a centimeter. Can anybody help me with what went wrong with my mobile. Is it a chip level problem or just some wire loose inside? I tried doing Master Reset but still the problem is there.

Mobile No- — Issue of Service

I purchased handset of Sony Ericssion j105i on dated 21.4.10 but due to some reason it was not working properly. I went to your authorized service centre at Teletalk communication at Bhajanpura,New Delhi. They denied to repair the phone as the phone contains moisture in it and taking 20 days to repair it with the cost of Rs 450.And they misbehaved with me This phone is in warranty period of 1 year as moisture is obious due to rainy sesion.Since the phone is in warranty its their duty to repair it. It does not having any part damaged. I am a very fond of Sony phones, currently i am having 3 sony phones at my home. But after this incidence, we have decided not purchase any sony products in future and convince other persons of my community to not to go for sony products, If my query does not resolve within 10 days. HTC / HD2 — Disappointed

I am very much disappointed. After buying an HD2 for the significant amount of 600 euro the device seems abandoned.

For what is the flagship product of HTC. At least in price. The one that should reflect the very essence of what HTC stands for. It has been abandoned in more than one way.

- The upgrade to Windows Mobile 5.2 was nine month ago. But still the device is not stable. Further updates were sparse and addressed only trivial issues.
- When the premium supplier of WM6 devices announced and endorsed the incompatible WM7
eight months ago the after marker for WM6 applications plummeted. At the same time early rumors of an upgrade path were dispelled.
- Many new devices were announced and released replacing the ones mere months old.

So, how can I feel but abandoned by the very promises HTC made about my purchase.

Should the next device be from Apple, who provides os upgrades after two years. Or maybe the lure of Google is more promising with their
fast and relevant updates. And then there is Blackberry with a long history.
As it stand today it sure won't be Microsoft with their crippled WM7 sales platform and HTC who cannot be expected to honor existing customers.

My handset was not working.when I checked with the customer care they said it was liquid problem as we had there was water.It was not true as i have not even taken it near water.its purely product defect.

HTC Touch Google — Still no service

My HTC Dream Google phone was handed in for repair after hanging, not switching on etc at the MTN shop in Waterfall Mall Rustenburg. After about 5 weeks I eventually got a replacement phone, however my phone was replaced with a second hand phone full of scratches. Now it is in again for another 4 weeks. Both MTN and HTC can not assist, the one blaming the other, making the one less helpful than the other! It's more then 7 weeks now and I am still without a phone, what am I paying for ???
