[Resolved]  Hutch — Manipulation of Services

Dear Sir,

I'm a 59 yr old professor, ex-IITian, working at RNSIT Engineering College at Bangalore.

I'm the user of Hutch Prepaid Services in Bangalore,
([protected]), I keep getting various offers of activating services like caller tunes,missed call alerts etc often, but I've never felt them necessary and never activated any of these services.

Recently, when my daughter called my from mumbai, she told me theres a kannada song caller tune playing on my mobile, as I had never requested for any such service, I thought it must be one of those free services and ignored it, soon to realize that Rs.30/- had been deducted from my a/c for activation of the caller tune which I had never requested for.

I do not have the time or the patience of calling up the customer care no of hutch and listening to their excuses and I'm writing to you, to ensure my money is reversed and also that in future no such services are activated without my knowledge.

I'm forwarding a copy of the same to TRAI, to ensure prompt attention to this issue.

Kindly do the same at the earliest.
