Hutch — unauthorized deduction of balance from phone balance

Dear sir,

i am using phone connection which is provided by HUTCH company.

my phone no. is +91-[protected].

company has activated caller tune without my consent.they have deducted all my balance from the mobile phone.

on 5th of sept. i got one promotional call from hutch company.but without following any process of the caller tune activation i disconnected the call.

and in the evening i got one massege from 56789 that my caller tune has been set for 90 days.

i have talked to custormer care more than four times.but no avail. they are not lodging any complain regarding that.

i have talked to Mr. somnath arora (supervisor)c-45,okhala industrial area, delhi.

but they are refusing to lodge the complain.
i never pursue any promotional call more than 30 second in the last two month.
and they had no details about it. they were saying that after 24 hour informationare feed to the computer,so they can only tell about it after 24 hour.


but you can check out the details,i never had gone through any process of caller tune activation and not given consent to activate it.

so why my balance has been deducted from the account.
it is the bad act of company.

one of my friend has been also suffering from it.


i hope it will be sorted out.i was using idea cellular before this and they dont have any problem like this.

i m recieving some poetic sms from one hutch number [protected]. when i m calling on that number either it comes the user is busy or error in connection or a caller tune of movie chakk de india plays but nobody picks up the phone. i want to know sir to whom this number belongs to . i will be highly obliged i[censored] send me the details of this number . this number probably belong from my state uttar pradesh. also when i m sending sms on this number i dont get the delivery reports on this number . thanking u

Hutch — Wrong Billing/Harassment/Legal Claim

I have used my Hutch post paid number[protected] for over 3+ years. During that time not only was the service bad due to wrong billing, poor customer support and poor payment facilties at their outlets (credit card machine never seemed to work). I used to have a plan which gave me 100 mins free talk time and 100 text messages free. Atleast once in three months - I would have to call customer service to inform them that I have not received my bill or their billing was wrong. I have got reversals many a time on my number ONLY after speaking to their supervisors.

During one incident when I was at the show room, a representative told me of a new plan that gave me 500 text messages free and 500 mins talk time free. I changed my plan and for the first month they billed me under the plan. However - the next two months my bill was rather high but I paid it and never checked the bill. The third month when I checked my bill I found out that someone had changed my plan to another plan and they were billing me for all my text messages. I spoke to a customer representative by the name of Roland and he assured me to go ahead and pay my bill this time and he will sort things out. I paid my bill, however the next month I got a bigger bill and my plan was not changed. Roland could never be reached. Hence I called their customer support numerous times, explained my situation to many representatives but never got a solution. I told them to cancel the connection.

They did not cancel the connection, just cut the service and continued to send their representatives to harras my family and myself. I refused to pay the bill! They have now sent a legal lawyers notice to me asking me to pay my bill + rent for all those months when I never used the phone and an interest on the amount. They are threatening to sue me for me not paying my bill. I plan to file a case against them and sue them for a huge amount due to the defamation of character (harrasment at my doorstep), mental torment and mis representation of a product and service to a customer. I believe they have all my calls recorded which will serve as further proof. I have planned to get a list of all other compalints from fellow people on the net and in my company (believe me there are many).

I am more concerned about my reptuation and the cheap way in which Hutch/Vodafone tries to cheat people, they need to be taught a lesson!

1. There is utter confusion regarding the following billing mess up .
2. Sometimes I am told the ambiguity is resolved - the latest - it is still NOT!! To top it, DESPITE my timely payment for Dec 08, l my bill for Jan 09 includes a 'Late payment fine'!? Sounds like a practical joke!!
3. My latest bank statement reflecting debited amount towards 'Orange' is AGAIN attached herewith for action - in case this cannot be resolved STILL i reserve the option to approach 'consumer' forum for the MUCH Harrassment by 'HUTCH'.
