[Resolved]  ICFAI University — Illegal degree

The IBS offers MBA courses charging HEFTY FEES but they NEVER CLARIFY that they are JUST COACHING CLASSES and MBA offered by differebt ICFAI - Dehra Dun, Tripura, etc etc are RECOGNISED BY UGC or AICTE - many students are cheated on the assumption that they are getting recignised MBA from IBS.
The issue needs to be resolved by HRD Ministry so that careers of thousands of students are not played with.
On asking IBS to give a certificate of comletion of MBA ( 2 Years ), they are refusing to issue the same.

IS ICFAI RECOGNISED BY UGC ????? THEY HAVE WRITTEN IT IN THERE PROSPECTUS THAT THEY R RECOGNISED. AND THEY HAVE APPROVAL FROM DEC FOR THERE DISTANCE EDUCATION PROGRAM LIKE MBA 360FLEXIBLE LEARNING PROGRAM.

i m really shocked to listen this...!!! i request all the students to be aware of such illegal & fake universities. it can cost your carrer. I too was interested in MBA hospital administration from the same university but now it I am not even going it for free from ICFAI. please be aware

You can visit the nearest ICFAI University branches or website @ www.icfaiuniversity.in for clearing your misconceptions. Stop blaming the Institute inevidently.

Many students are studying in ICFAI. If the university is not recognised/cheating the innocent student and spoiling our career and valuable time and money, i feel appropriate investigation to be made and appropriate action to be taken immediately.Further if it i prooved that university is cheatne the student, money of all the students to be refunded.

You can see from all that is posted on the blog that nobody is denying the quality of the program. It’s some procedures, what is caused due to mis-representation at field level. Being into thickness of the program (final stage), you should threat the path unconcerned of other developments. Good going.

Plz ensure me whether Icfai University and IBS (Hyderabad) is approved by AICTE and recognised under UGC Act.

It is easy to join bandwagon in pelting stones at others. How realistic we are in our preparations for facing the examinations. May be we need to introspect ourselves taking cue from successful professionals.
