My name is Vandana sharma on 25-May- 2007 I got enrolled into an MBA program from ICFAI under enrollment number MBA2095481. My situation went bad and wanted to discontinue the program... on 20-May-2007 i wrote them stating that wont b able to continue this... but they denied stating that u'll have to continue this as I've signed the contract... what contract are we selling education... i am from a very poor family and cannot afford to continue further studies... but who understands... I paid Rs. 10000 as advance payment and for remaining fee I opted for EMI payment of fees of Rs. 4323/month for 18 months. I had one cheques at the time and the sales guy from ICFAI forced me that that particular day was the last date and told me that I can give one cheques for Rs 77,814, as a promise note that i will replace this cheque with 17 cheques for Rs. 4323/month within a month. The University website had changed from www.icfai.org to www.icfaiuniversity.in long back. Intimation to this effect was conveyed through e-newsletters, emails to student ids besides auto directing from URL known to student.
Further, the University had facilitated various channels of information exchange i.e. toll free numbers, email communication etc. which provide required information relevant to student. All the other issues were intimated right through the program prospectus and hence a thorough reading of the same is advised.

ICFAI Sucks .. They sells Degrees and hold no values in there degrees and have some shops selling there program in various small and big cities in India. They lack in Employee ethics and moral..

Even i paid so much of money by taking loan plus i paid extra for placement, but they arent giving me my money back. Someone can help me pls. I have all the necessary documents with me.
After reading these comments I think I got scared of even doing an MBA !!! such a racket running in India in the name of education. Bunchof cheaters flaunting around ....

I am Anushka. I was enrolled for ICFAI University MBA correspondence program . But I always regret why did I choose such university which is into money making business. They deliberately fail the students with very less marks so that they need to reattempt many number of times. There is no credibility for such universities. They fool the students. I would suggest everyone not to opt for their programs. They lure you for attractive programs and will earn money. They will not clear your final semesters deliberately and will ask you to reattempt which cost money of Rs 1000 per group. You keep paying on your reattempts. Their sites are always in re-construction and you need to search in google. There are lot of good universities where you can get the MBA degree with course fee just Rs. 20000. They have good credibility in the market

i was the student of bca from icfai on councelling time they said that they provide 2 hours class daily but when i take addmission in bca they not provide class and only blaming to student that its your duty to read but we are unable to paid coaching class outside .its not only problem for individual but for every student they cheated all student. due to this reason my carrier get spoiled and now i am pursuing ba .its a blunder cheating .and god also never pardon beacuse if you spoiled student carrier then one day god also punish you i believe in god

I too agree with you... I am doing my MBA since 5 years i am in group B only. My all amount is wasted, almost around 1 and half lacs i think more than that. I thought i will get passed with 2 years, but the same is going on and on. If i get my money back it would be useful for my parents for my marriage purpose as i am a south indian girl. money is more important for us. Please do help me, as i am from middle class family,
