I'm also one of the sufferers because of ICFAI. I'm from chennai. My case is worse. I joined in June, by paying 10,000 and remaining in EMI(18 cheques starting Aug) and in the month of july i got admission in another good college regular MBA, when i decided to discontinue the program and i went to meet the officials in Chennai office (Before the first cheque date) they said, u can withdraw from the program by paying the full money(Approx Rs.78,000), will Mr. Dean of ICFAI will do so? I clearly informed them not to present my cheque as i have given stop payment for the cheques which I've given. I've written more than 5 emails and 3 letters with acknowledgement to Hifco and ICFAI, but they kept on presenting my cheque. After that they have issued couple of legal notice and now they have filed a case against me. I have to present myself infront of the court on 27th December at hyderabad. I would like to take this issue. Infact I was shocked to see the number of complaints registered in this site alone. ICFAI is not there to produce qualified MBA students, but they are there to destroy students’ carrier and make money for themselves.
I appeared in MBA exam group B in October 2009, and thereafter I am unable to view the results or register for the future exam.
Anirban, I personally thank you because you are the only person in ICFAI who at least responded to my email and told me on approaching that SSD booked me under alpractice.
Even after chasing ICFAI Hyderabad through email and tool free numbers phone no satisfactory reply has been received and the exam dept response is also elusive.
I assure you that a paper full of formulae which was already there in the FAT book (provided by ICFAI during the examinations) was found and it was validated by Icfai invigilator as well as mentioned in the letter o[censored]ndertaking sent to Icfai.
The control mechanism in ICFAI has become so mechanical that the space for humane element has been wiped out completely.
The invigilator also stands testimony to that incident. They understood it was a human error and they acknowledged it as well, but I am sure they could not do anything because of the system of ICFAI which was deprived of human emotions.
It really pains to see that responsible academic institutions which were acclaimed as the architect of nation’s future are having a laugh at the expense of a student’s career.
Icfai exam depertment dose not bothered send a letter that this is that and you are debarred and your debarment period is this.
So I earge all the students who wished to be successful in their lives do not go for ICFAI.

I attend the intenship program from at Kolkata June 2010.Just 1/2 days which is optional I could not attened for my exam. I was shocked to learn from the faculty Sandeep that my certificate will be withheld on grounds of attendence and improper project which is not true at all.Problem caused by the immence pressure of the faculty and due to lack of proper air circulation.Heat created by computers & projectors converted the classroom into a furnace.However the class hours are so lengthy where we will have to complete the entire syllabus within one month only.Moreover it is difficult for us to cramm the studies within the short period in this sultry hot month of June. How after so many request they put a AC which is alo leaking so we have to put it off most of the time. See if you are arrangening the Internship 1st time in kolkata after so many request you need to put your infrastucture suitable for the proper conduction.
I do not know wheather the faculty have any idea of working in Kolkata before
because he humiliate us all bengalis like any thing more over he always threat all the students that you are so unprofessional and more ons that no one is deserved to get internship certificate. He mentaly torchered us so much that some of the student have already have nervs break down. He insulted our bengali culture also his racial comments on Daud Ahmed is not at all acceptable. He used to give us example of him self that travells all part of the country and in last 3 months he only have a 30 mins talk with his wife, we come here to improve our skills and knowledge not listning all those personal things.
Here there are two batches in Kolkata morning and noon. He made the morning student forcefully stay till 8.30 pm evening and made the place a musical chair where each day we have to fight for sittings.
His way of talking and arrogant behaviour make the noon batch so irritated that many of the students stop coming.
He is never satisfied with our assingments and deleted number of times. This take lot of effort to do and we are doing it first time.
Even he asked to call our parents to complain agaist us is it a kindergarden school Icfai is running here ???
Each day he threats that he will not provide the certificate. In such circumtance its better to join else where rather than in icfai.
I can name some of the student who are facing immence problem in the hand of this faculty.

I will suggest all of friends in Icfai to raise their voice and ensure that next time this faculty will not arrive back in Kolkata.

Hi all if anyone is reading my comment then please suggest what can be done, as I feel a collective complain will force higher authorities to take strict action against icfai. I have similar problems of paying entire fees, change of course in the middle by the university, not clearing papers after several attempts, the checking regulations absolutely ambigous and of course no guidance about classes whatsoever.
I have no job now and I paid up entire fees and they behaved in an unjust manner, I need the money as I am in a helpless situation!!

ICFAI is the worst University. They charges huge amount for everything.
Rs 1000 for exams, Rs 100 per Question Paper, Rs 500 for Answer Paper review or re-check.
I paid Annual Fees of Rs 1000. After that they stopped collecting Annual Fees. As I have paid, shall I not expect the amount refunded to me. It seems like they wanted to earn some extra penny, so they collected that amount.I personally will take this step to let no one enroll in ICFAI for so called MBA.
The way they check Question Papers is PAINFUL.
They don't understand that it becomes a painful affair to pay so much to study MBA.
When I first took admission, I was not told about all those hidden charges. They are only concentrating in doing business & earning maximum profit. They are not at all interested in students's interests. They hardly look into our concerns. It is really getting hard to pay so much. We are not getting any help from this Dirty University.
Let us all unite together and shut the doors of ICFAI close and demand our money back.
I request everybody to help us from becoming bankrupt.
I also request Government of India to help us. We are not from a super rich family. We can't afford so much. PLEASE Help us.

ICFAI is a bloody CHEAT. They are running for money. They are run by some hooligans.
I WANT MY ENTIRE COURSE FEES BACK NOW... including all exam fees...
Shame on the entire unit of ICFAI...

While you may have an inconvenience, please note that online self registration and downloading of admit card will facilitate hassle free appearance in the exam in comparison to a Demand Draft being made through post/courier and the date entry of date and subsequent uploading of admit card onto the website/mailing the admit card would lead to lot of gaps/delays at various points. All these issues can obstruct the process of organizing the exam quality because of time constraints. You are advised to view the subject in the light of the above and make arrangements for a credit card to register for exam online because of its multifold advantages.
