[Resolved]  ICICI Bank — Credit card

Issue still pending from last 2 years...

This is regarding my credit card no. 4477 xxxx xxxx 2007 bank icici new delhi, my credit card limit was rs. 20000/- and bank sent me a statement of rs. 34000/-they have charged me over my bill limit and as per cibil i have to pay only rs. 2500/- . For the recovery of excess payment they called me many time even thought i am ready to pay the amount as per cibil, but they threaten me to pay the excess amount, i am mentally harassed by them, bank people call me more than 10 time every day.

I want to settel the due payment as per the cibil only.

This has reference to Credit Card Statement issued to me for the in which showing Rs. 11575.00 outstanding on me.

I would like to inform you that EMI amount was settled for Rs. 1722/22 per month including all charges, but you have charged me Late payment fee, Interest & Service Tax etc form the day one. Further this is for your information that I have paid all the due installments (Except one) on time. So where is the question for Late Payment? If I had to pay for interest and so many other charges debited by you why should I buy it through Credit Card. The interest debited by you is not acceptable because that the time of transaction it was never discussed for interest charges on EMI. It was discussed with your representative on telephone that no interest will be charged. So why are you debiting in my account now I would have preferred Cash purchase. As per my records I paid excess amount for Rs. 290/- .

ICICI General Insurance Company - Motor Insurance — claim settlement

I Would like to draw your kind attention that my motor cycle bearing Registration No.OR O2 AL 7255.(Hero Honda Splendor plus), Chasis No-06J16C10171 and Engine No 06J15M23319 was insured with ICICI LOMBARD G I C, vide policy no 3005/52753424/01/B00. from 00.00 01.11.2008 to 31.10.2009 midnight.

The above said motor cycle was stolen on 20.03.2009 at about 12.30p.m. I had lodged the report of theft with the office at Kolkata vide complain no. MOT/0116775, and also reported to the jurisdictional Police Station i.e. Kharavelanagar PS, Bhubaneswar as FIR No.106 (9) dated 11.07.2009 U/s. 379 IPC. The copy of complaint as well as FIR already submitted.The Police filed report U/s 173 Cr.P.C.in the Court of SDJM , Bhubaneswar intimating about no clue of the theft vehicle and the Hon’ble Court of SDJM, Bhubaneswar accepted the said final report vide order dated 16.112009.(copies already submitted). I have already submited all the documents but my claim dose not settele yet.

I have an ICICI credit card and have some concerns with the late payment charges that were levied post discussions with the customer care executives, that is too elaborate to explain here.

I wished to clear all outstanding and then discontinue the card useage. To my disappointment there was late payment charges that continued to be levied and the built up amount is rather not justifiable.I have been calling the customer support multiple times to speak to the settlement department and I am unable reach them due to varying reasons (applications down, asked to call back in 2 hours etc)

The late payment charges are now building up with no attempt being made to resolve my issue.
I am extremely disappointed and will request an imemdiate action on this.

ICICI Bank — Attitude issue/no courtesy

I am working with a pvt organizations for last fifteen years and as my job demands travelling , i travel a lot as its a transferable job i keep on moving from one place to other.Recently i had joined one organization at HQ Lucknow and they had a salary account with ICICI Bank so i was asked to open up a account over there and i opened the account giving my Dehradun address for communication. and came back to Dehradun.After a month when my salary was credited in that account , i went to the ICICI Bank NCR Plaza branch for withdrawl of my salary with all documents like pan card etc, once i asked for self withdrawl of one lakh rupees they(ICICI BANK ) REFUSED to provide me my money by saying that your branch is of lucknow.The staff and the branch manager were very rude.

ICICI bank have made my credit bill to much without any reason. So I have filed a case in Consumer Court. But ICICI Bank have put my name in defaulter list in CIBIL.

Please remove my name as soon as possible or take a legal action against it.

ICICI Bank — Excess by ICICI bank

ICICI bank has no right to use any other platform (like CIBIL) to open a settled case. In the instant case, based on mutual discussion and keeping in mind the best interest of both the parties (ie Undersigned and ICICI Bank), the transaction related to the above mentioned credit card was settled. ICICI bank also accepted the amount of settlement and considered it fair enough to close any outstanding proceedings against myself.



Once settled, the undersigned fail to understand the following



1. Why the due amount is still appearing against my name in CIBIL report as per above control account number. This has caused mental tension and harassment and I want ICICI bank to adequately compensate me for that, failing which I will be free to take any legal course against bank at Bank's cost , risk and consequences.



2. If a matter has been settled between two parties by mutual understanding, what right do the bank has to open the issue again via third party and from a different platform without informing the concerned person. At the time of settlement of the transactions related with Credit card, ICICI bank never informed the undersigned that they will report the incident to CIBIL and will keep the matter alive even though they agreed for settlement. Non informing the undersigned before reporting wrong matter to CIBIL is against the RBI guidelines and ICICI Bank has violated the same


3. What right do the bank has to asked money from me if I don't owe any thing to them. In their own word, no amount is lying outstanding against my name. Then how can ICICI bank can ask money from me for changing the status. If the bank is asking money to change the status then it is grossly misusing the power and trying to belittle a common person like me.



4.With all its might, ICICI Bank has first settled the credit card transaction on its own terms. Then the proceed to a third party and provided wrong information against my name and that wrong information is still appearing in the report, then the bank is asking me to BRIBE them so that they can undo the wrong thing already done by them.



5. Asking a person some money to do a wrong thing amounts to asking BRIBE (as in the instant case, undersigned do not owe any money to ICICI bank but Bank is asking money to change my status report which they have uploaded as per their own whims). ICICI Bank is using its mighty position and power and trying to use a 3rd party to malign my credibility.


6. I want ICICI bank to sincerely apologise me for all the misdeed undertaken by bank and to compensate me adequately failing which I will restore to legal course at the cost and risk of bank.

The under signed contacted the ICICI Bank and talk to Ms pushpanjali on 18.03.2010 and with Mr Madhur on 22.03.2010.



On both the occasion, I was told that there is no outstanding lying in my credit card.



I fail to understand why the amount is shown as outstanding even after confirmation from bank that there is no outstanding.



Pls rectify my report and confirm me via mail IMMEDIATELY without any further delay, otherwise I will be forced to take legal action , without any prejudice, at the your cost.

ICICI Bank — credit card payment settled but do not stop deducting.

I had paid the entire amount of my credit card no. [protected] on Oct, 2008 and I had also received a letter from the ICICI Bank about the settlement on 29th may 2009 but they had lein on my saving account twice and deducted the amount over and above the due payment and they still multiplying the different types of charges. I had spent only Rs.2500 and I had paid Rs.7000 dispite of this my account is being lien.

I am using icici bank credit card no [protected] since nov 2007 and on 11th march 2008 I swiped my card for Rs 20000 and called customer care on 13th march 2008 to convert the transaction into the emi and on customer care I was told that I would be charged 10% reducing rate of interest but when the charge was levied in the month of may 2008 then I found that they have charged me 18 % of reducing rate I shared around 100 e-mails with them and all the mails are with me in the record but nothing happened from there side then in the month of Oct 2008 I presented this case in Banking ombudsman and on 22nd Jan 2009 a meeting was organized by Banking Ombudsman between me and icici bank officials though I was absent in that meeting but the case was in my favour and they ordered icici bank to adjust all the extra interest which they charge from me into my loan balance account on 22nd jan 2009 but till yet they haven’t did anything and as a loyal customer I was paying them all the emis regular and after 1 year of winning the case also I paid all their dues well in advance and I paid the total amount due till Dec 2009 but from Jan 2010 I had stopped there payments because they were not reversing my charges and now daily I am receiving the calls from there side and they are harassing me to make the payments and they call me up and tell that should we sent the person for taking the payment but they don’t see that why I am defaulter I am defaulter because of them because they are not making the payment they are harassing thatswhy when there was no way to take my money back I stopped their payment. I hope so you will look into the case and help me in this regard. There are some webites below in which many of the customers and Icici bank employees have given there nos that even they are not getting there dues after being a employee of the company. Instead of Khayal apka the new slogan for icici bank should be gali gali me shor hai Icici Bank Chor Hai.

I had opened a account with ICICI Bank 4 months ago but i haven't received my debit card yet. i have passed so many complaints but they are not responding at all. kindly issue my debit card as soon as possible as i am unable to make any transaction.

I had a ICICI Credit Card and also have the Salary account with them. Over a period of time my Card payments were very high so when I settled with them they did the settlement on INR 24000 in 03 installments. First payment was taken from my account Directly as they had put a lean on the same. I have letter with details on the payment but on 31 March they have debited my account for INR 11600 again & when I inquired they said the second payment cheque ie for May 09 was not cleared due to some corrections done on the same. June 09 cheque was cleared which was the last payment of the settlement. Now they have not informed about the 2nd cheque & are just forcing me to pay more. Its not fair not ethical as all seems like a BIG story moving in circles for their own benefit.

This time when this debit happened I was in Chennai & was literally without CASH as this is my mail account. I need help in order to get this sorted out.

ICICI Bank — Auto Debited from ATM machine not working

My amount of Rs. 2400 auto debited from ATM where I comes for payment retrieval of Rs.[protected] twice) at atm but due to technical fault its not received just because of Rs. 500 or 1000 will accept retrieval from ATM. Pls find the details which amount was not retrieved from ATM and his next transaction I have received of Rs. 1000.00.
