[Resolved] ICICI Bank Credit Card — Wrong Lean amount marked in my ICICI bank Savings Account
I am holding an ICICI Bank Savings account, the A/C no is[protected] and also a credit card starts with no 5176 in the same bank. The issue is my SB account is marked a lean amount of Rs.64, 000 and odd since I have some due amount to be paid for credit card. Regarding this I spoke to the customer care people and they said " I have due amount to be paid for my credit card which is 4477 as starting number. I told them that it is not my card and since I am holding only one credit card and the number is 5176 and after a long conversation they provided the other card no 4477 and asked me to enquire about this in any one of the nearest branch since it is related to my savings account.
As they instructed I went to nearest branch, for me ADYAR branch is near and asked them about the details and after checking with them I came to know that the card no starting with 4477 is not my card, it belongs to a person who is residing in MUMBAI and his name is also NARAYANAN A. And they checked with the database of the card no 4477 and also my card no 5176 and found that it does not match each other, then that branch executive guided me to enquire directly to the ICICI bank credit card division in AMBATTUR.
I went there to clarify my problem, but there the executive as well the customer care people they really don’t know how to respect a customer of their bank. They did not even give a response to me instead they said that it is not their responsibility since it is relates to the SB account.
So once again I called the phone banking person and stated my issue again but I am getting the same reply. When I call SB account division they are saying that it is not there duty since the lean marked has been done only by the credit card division but when I again called the credit card division they are saying that it is not their responsibility since it is SB account.
After this I went to the regional office which is in SANTHOME and enquired thoroughly but I didn’t get a proper response for this issue.
For the past one week I am chasing this issue and none of the customer care officers are not even taking complaint or service request number for this issue, they are blindly saying that it is not their responsibility.
With regards to this, I have emailed the above same details and raised a complaint to the RBI Chennai Care officer and waiting fro his reply.
I have many account related transactions like ECS will be cleared 5th of every month if this issue going to be like this then that transactions will get into problem. If that comes then I will become a defaulter in CIBIL, if this has been got updated then I will not be able to avail any type of loans from any banks till I get a proper solution.
So please look after this issue seriously and do the needful.
