ICICIcredit Card — Useless call centers

In Dec 08 I changed my company and I wanted to update communication address to receive saving account / credit card / demat statements.

When I happen to be in Aundh Pune branch for other reason, I enquired about address change, and the answer was 'You call to Call center'. Its surprising that the customer is in branch and bank staff can do the changes and still I have been asked to 'Call Centers'.

Now who ever connected with ICICI bank knows how long s/he has to keep dialing the number, and if luckly you get connected then have to press only numbers and numbers. All this is bullsheet and nothing but a waste of time.

I never undrestand whether ICICI wanted to cut down customer response time or offload their staff workload. Both purpose are not at all resolved and the customer staisfaction index is touching to low.

Compratively in case of HDFC, the person attended the call and finished the task just in 2 minutes. Where as in case of ICICI it is just luck to get any executive on phone line.

The issues are as ..
1] Useless call center mechanism.
2] Purposeful avoidence to customer by keeping them in to the puzzle of IVRS system.
3] No co-operation / response in any branch
4] charges and money extortion from account holder / card holder for any and any reason by saying service charges.

The old Sahukar raj was good as compared to this well organized exrtorting ICICI bank.

Now I decided to close my Saving account, dispose 2 credit cards, Demat account and shifting to HDFC, Union Bank and ING Vyasya.

I must say how long ICICI will survive, if they loose customer focus. Already ICICI tested down turn in single day. Still they are not learning from the past.

ICICI Credit Card — Useless

i am not holding any credit card but still they are issuing me a new one also not giving proper responce
after several calls, visits & corrospondance in customer care proper responce is not recd.
i treat this is the most useless treatment recd from ICICI Credit card.

Credit Card — useless bill

My dad was using Barclay's credit card. He paid the whole unbill amount. After a month Barclay people send us a bill of Rs.500. When we called them to cross check the bill amount, they said the amount Rs.100 was overdue which you didn't pay and we charged Rs.100 for executive who came to receive the payment.You didn't make the payment timely that the reason after charging Rs400 as late payment after due date, the total amount is Rs. 500. When my dad raise a complaint for irrational billing amount, they people didn't turn up. And now they make the bill of Rs.5000 which was just Rs.100.
I want to ask why should my dad pay the late charges, the guy who came for collection should that time only ask for collection charges instead of sending the bill of Rs.500 which also include late payment charges. So many times I have already forwarded the complaints to Barclay's customer care, but nothing is happening.

Same experience here, most of the ICICI bank ATMs remain out of order -OR- out of cash!! There are 3 ATMs at my home location and 2 on my office location and at both locations every time I try to use ICICI ATMs they remain useless, I tried to register a complaint to the local branch and also wrote in their complaint book but in vain, on the other hand I never found any single HDFC bank ATM which was out of order/cash!!

It seems as ICICI's customer base is growing they are becoming unreliable, irresponsible and do not care about customer grievance, the behaviors of the ICICI bank representatives in the local branch remind you of their counterparts at some Government banks like SBI, even sometimes you feel easy to get service from those Government banks who are infamous for their poor services!!
