ICICIcredit Card — Unwanted Insurance & debit of emi through Credit card

Dear sir,

In early 2007 I received a call from ur credit card divison regard free credit card to central government employees and thus I got in this trap.

Due to some bad experiences of my colleagues, I also did'nt used the card. Further when I received the first statement it showed that an EMI has been paid to ICICI Lombard for some insurance done at their own and payment has been done through my credit, which I had kept under lock and key.

After a lot of telephonic calls and emailing and correspondence I was successful in getting that Unwanted Insurance cancelled. Further I had requested to reverse all the charges showing in my statement. I received a email that credit card divison is in the process of reversing this amount. But very sorry to say that till date I am receiving the statement with all the charges including interest on late fees etc. Now the total amount outstanding against me is about Rs.7000/-

Dear sir can I ask u that is it a crime to take the credit card of your bank? Just taking the free card means paying the penalty of Rs.7000/- and face the mental stress.

Hope something favourable would be thought about me and this amount of Rs.7000/ would be got reversed.
