[Resolved]  ICICIcredit Card — Reward points transferred to Imint program

I was shocked to check my last month's credit card says I've redeemed all my points! When contacted ICICI Call centre they are saying all the points have been transfered to imint...without any intimation to me! Its very dissapointing to see that a leading bank which claims to be customer-service oriented works in a such pathetic way. I feel this imint program is a pure waste and just another way to sqeeze money from the customers. I suggest ICICI Bank should withdraw this program and should continue with their own program of redeeming points.

As per the previous statement for the month of Sep 08, the closing balance as ashown Rs.13101.97 is correct and I have paid it through two separate cheques of Rs.5000/- & Rs.8000/- and as per my account the balance should be nil or it should be the balance of latest made transaction of appx Rs.1600/- for fuel. In view of the above, I request that the the cheque reversal of Rs.8000/- deducted from the acct for the month of Oct 08 statement be credited and the balance reconciled.

I agree with all the issues. ICICI transferred the points to imint without any consent. In my view, IMint are group of irresponsible people - first, they sent my imint card to some wrong address. Then, when knew about the non-delivery through their mail (thanks!), and mailed them back to correct the address - it is not corrected even after their mail promise of 5 working days. As such, the imint rewards are expensive as compared to other banks' rewards. And the above comments are more scary!

Worse, imint does not have local no. to call in Pune and they have restricted timings, so you need to waste some time and money to get things sorted. It is complete nightmare and frustation for what we can gain through imint points vs. how much time we invest on this. Is there a icici or imint fax no. we can send this information and hope that someone will understand our pains?

ICICIcredit Card — Payment by cash and cheque credited by ICICI

Statement dated Oct. 11, 2008 ICICI bank informed me that my cheque of Rs. 5562.72 was returned. But the instrument has not reached the bank and neither me and the amount has been credited from my account on 20/11/2008. As the cheque was returned I paid in cash on 12/11/2008 for Rs. 4800/- the same was also credited to my account . So you fooled a customer.i.e Inspite of me being in repeated contact with your call centre people and they also told me that the cheque was returned. How then has the cheque been cleared from My Account.
Again I put a cheque on 18th Nov. 2008. The same was not credited for 6 days and then it was returned. Now I have put a cheque of Rs. 10, 000/- and I want a refund of Rs. 6000/- from your bank within one week or else I will be forced to take this matter with the Banking Ombudsman.
I did read an article in "The Time of India" dated 24th November 2008 where you fooled an ICICI life insurance policyholder by wrongly showing that there are no funds in the account and fooling her by clearing her Solapur cheque at Kolhapur and repudiating the claim . Is this what ICICI stands for a Cheating Bank? I never expected this. I thought it was one of the best Indian Banks going multinational but I now have my apprehensions about the bank. An early reply will help in not aggravating the matter.

I lost my ICICI Bank Credit Card no.[protected] on 22 June 2007. I reported the loss to your bank immediately and was informed that a new card would soon be issued. But no card was issued, instead a new card no. [protected] was reflected in July 2007 statement. I repeatedly informed your Customer Care service, but to no avail. However, I kept receiving statements for the new no. (I had taken a loan from ICICI Bank against my previous credit card). I made payments as per the statement details and every month requested the customer service cell to send me the reissued card but in spite of repeated assurances from the service personnel (namely Ms. Asha, Mr. Sayed) the card never arrived! Finally I requested bank to tell me the final outstanding amount and allow me to close my credit card account as I was unnecessarily being harassed by service personnel for a non existing credit card. On 10 September 2008, after talking with Ms. Alpana and Mr. Irfan of the Customer Service Cell, a settlement amount of Rs. 1050/- (Rupees One thousand and fifty only) was finalized. I was asked to pay this amount immediately as full and final payment for my said credit card and was assured that the formal letter from the bank would reach me within 15 days. Accordingly, I paid the said amount the same day and received a receipt for the amount mentioning that it was the full and final payment for all outstanding against my credit card no. [protected].

However most surprisingly I received another statement for the same card the next month ie October 2008. Once again calls to your customer service cell failed to give me any satisfactory reasons for this error on their part.

At this juncture I request you to kindly let me know why I should be thus harassed by incompetent service personnel and finally what I should do to close my afore mentioned credit card account once and for all, as I don’t wish to maintain any sort of connection with ICICI Bank.

I was supplied with a different product which I book towards redeemtion of imint credit points, after lodging a complain more than 2-1/2 months passed away I had not replaced with required product inspite of assurance by imint authority time and again .Refering matter ti ICICIC authority the simply provide contact no of imint to contact
First of all,
I will blame ICICI bank for playing with the Customers money and giving false commitments.
Its disgusting to know that they call themselves A Professional Banker.
With out intimating they have transfered all the rewards points to IMINT, which again is a 3rd class level organisation.
This IMINT Chaps will not be available on the phone lines. And if by chance they will make false commitments and will not be adding any points for their faults.
Eg: Booking Air Tickets thru linking of mobile bills will not be done for 3 months also and eventually we as a cutomer are at the loss.
I will strongly recommend People to go for a Trustworthy Bank as alternative.
I fully agree to the complaint as the same happened with me.
I tried to redeem my imint points so many times on website.. however everytime website page doesnt get open and it gives page error. It opens the offers page and its details but not redeem gifts... just a open cheating by imint and ICICI.

ICICIcredit Card — about payement

i have paid my premium through icicivbp on date 24/11/08 and due date for premium was 28/11/08 but there is no payement maid by cicicvbp to my policy[protected] of payement Rs 5650 .so pls isure it so that i may persue in future.detection from my credit card is made on 24/11/08 .but in lic there is no receiving.

ICICIcredit Card — Defaulting Bank ever

After getting a credit card the only transaction which i did was balance transfer of 17000/- the card limit was 25000/- without my knowledge they increased my limit to 32000/-

after 3 years what i come to know is i have payed till now 80, 000/- and also they are debiting from my salary directly... 20, 000/- and the outstanding balance is 45, 000/-

I still dont know about there calcualtation, i wonder how come RBI & finance ministry of india is backing such banks & why d0nt they educate middle class family about all these fraud things this DIRTY BANKS do...

ICICI Credit Card — imint card

Recently I received a mail stating that I am to get imint card based on the redeem points and specified the card number also. The information was that the card was lying with them as they couldn't delivered the same to me may be due to may absence in the address. Immediatly I have again informed them that I shifted to new place. against my information, ICICI customer care informed me that I am out of their mailing coverage area though I am in Andhrapradesh. Later, in response to imint customer care also I informed my new address and I tried to reach them repaetedly, but I couldn't due to their technical problems. Now I am not receiving any communication/ card or no information about the points that I gained from last 4 years. What I have to do now? It is nothing less than a cheating from ICICI to a valid customer which against market ethics.

ICICIcredit Card — Unauthorised blocking of Bank account

Dear Sir

The balance in my ICICI Saving bank account has been blocked. i have talked to customer care and they are saying that credit card division has given them instruction for blocking the amount. My question is who has given the authority to Credit card people to operate my bank account. I have not agreed and has not signed on the particular clause which give them authority for the same. I am a corporate lawyer and Company secretary. I will complain to the Reserve Bank for such irresponsible banking operstions where the privacy of the customer is at stake and any one can do whatever they want with the bank account.

ICICIcredit Card — wrong commitments from icici credit card staff & wrong bill is raised month on month

some where in month of march or april 2007 I took 4000 cash & after that some petrol...
there after i payed part due...and visited c.scheme icici creditcard office to clear all due... i payed all they asked me to do... lately again i started receiving late fee charges ... agin after couple of months i went to icici office ... and payed again what they asked ... again i started receiving bills with late fees and i stopped paying ... how long will i keep paying ... and if i dont pay you will bring my record in CIBIL... i called customer care a years ago and asked them to cancele my card... but still i get statement saying your credit limit 59000 but my card is not working
I totally agree with the above complaints. In fact I have more to say. This bank charges me for a card which I have never own. Not only that, I own a card and after paying interest from 2004 to 2008 this bank does not even bother to give me my status history so that I can know how much I have paid to them. They only increase the amount and now have started threatening my parents. These people should be sued immediately.
