[Resolved]  Idea Cellular — violation of TRAI GUIDE LINES

Sub- Violation of trai Guidelines.

Dear Sir,
I would like to draw your kind attention towards the violation of guidelines “if a costumer request to switch over from post paid to prepaid OR vice verse for the same Cell No, the operator can not charge any migration fees in any form” though this message is telecast no of times in a day on DOORDARSHAN under the heading JAGO GRAHAK JAGO, the idea cellular is doing so without any hesitation and with full dare.
Sir this has also happened to me when I applied to switch over from post paid to prepaid for my Cell No [protected] dt 26/02/09 & paid Rs 100 as migration charge demanded by the operator.
(I have the receipt of the same and can produce before your office as a proof if required)
On reporting about this irregularity and unethical business attitude to costumer care, nodal officer & appellant authority & trai twice through email none of them responding.
I hope your office will take serious note for such irregularities and ensure the guidelines laid down by TRAI must be followed in order to safeguard the interest of common citizen & look forward your guidance for further action please.

Hi,

I have 3 numbers CUG connection of which primary number is [protected], the service is very poor and poor network service, incoming and outgoing calls get disconnected in between with reasons, network rejected call, call failed, etc., and call gets disconnected after 10 seconds of disconnecting the call.

Numerous complaints made to Idea cellular and no signs of improvement of service since ages!!!

This is regarding my complaint against idea mobile services. I would like to bring in your notice that I own an idea number {[protected]}.In the name of Faisal .
I was unnecessary amount of 79 Rs. When I made my first complaint against this regards I was told that I had utilized free SMS pack through using command *150*79#
And in this regards I received an complaint number 77305719 from customer service agent and I was assured that I will be getting my money credited back in mobile within
24hrs.While I had not yet utilized any kind of this service so far It was my patients that I waited for next 72 hrs and then when I made another complaints then they assured that I will getting my money with in next 72 hrs. After this I had called costumer services and they had quoted me different statement and now I am really confused which statement should I go with. Now its my humble request to TRAI to take appropriate step on this letter. This has harassed due to this and now it is over the limit that on this consider agent do disconnect my call from their end or put me on hold for long time.

Please do take action against the same

MY IDEA NO IS [protected] OF GUJRAT REGION. ON 18 OF JUN/09 WITHOUT ANY INITMATION CALLER TUNE IS ACTIVATEDON MY MOB.
ON COMPLAINT TO CUSTOMER CARE FIRST THEY DONOT AGREE ABOUT SELF ACTIVATION OF CALLER TUNE AND REFUSUED TO REGISTER THE COMPLAIN LATER ON WHEN I TALK TO CUSTER CARE LEADER HE REGISTER MY COMPLAIN AFTER LONG MARATHAN OF HOLDING PHONE.
MY CALLER TUNE IS DISACTVATED BUT RS. 30/- HAS BEEN DEDUCTED FROM MY ACCOUNT.

I HAVEN'T USE ANY CALLER TUNE NOR ACTIVATED IT BUT STILL AMOUNT IS DEDUCTED. NO REFUND HAS BEEN GIVEN TO ME.

PROTECTION OF CUSTOMER RIGHT IS SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF TRAI. THERE FOR I REQUESTED TRAI PLEASE INTERVENE AND STOP MAKING MONEY BY WRONG MEANS. .

Please note my strict complaint and check the call logs for details - I am getting calls from the number - [protected] - I got 10 calls in 2 minutes with this person not behaving well.

Please take immediate actions on IDEA or else this may get worse.

I had complaint agaist Idea mobile as gave Rs.225/-to a idea dealer to credit this amount in No.[protected], But he made mistake of crediting the money in the account NO.[protected].his behaviour is rude and he is not accepting his mistake. I am living at Amritsar.
I, satish kumar, having a idea number [protected] from last 4-5 years. Idea have claimed normal charges for all SMS (Local-1/- and STD-1.50/-) from me after recharged with Rs. 38/-.
As per idea Rs 38/- recharge Local, STD, SMS will be charge 50 paisa after first call or sms normal rate.
I have talked with idea customer care executive at 12:20PM on dated[protected]with my idea number [protected]) for the same, but he told me that you are waisting our time and not call us again for that query. HE HAVE HARRASSED ME FOR THE SAME.
He talk me AS HE IS OWNER OF IDEA CELLULAR and told me that today will be not applicable any package for SMS and calls. Also I have not received any message from IDEA for normal charges applicable will be today as dipawali festival...

I request to TRAI for taken an action against this service and stop to operator for willy-nilly charges taken from their customers also taken action against customer care executive for harrasment with customer.
If cellular company is not able to providing any package on festivals, may company should be sent confirmation for not applicable any package on this festival.

i want to complaint regarding idea customer care his name is Sunil Bansal supervisor of idea customer care.he don't have manner how to speak with customer very abusive he talk. i told him to deactivate my services(double meaning jokes, news and love messages) but he didnt de-activate and my all balance should be deduct from 14th january so its a humble request to you kindly take action against them and so that balance will be recover as soon as possible...

I a retailer in ahmedabad. my shop name is GoodLuck Telecom.I had participated in Monsoon Dhamaka 2009.The results for this contest was given to every retailer and the gifts were given to all the retailers of ahmedabad in Feb2009, but the team of IDEA havent gave my results in the contest, when i asked, they told that i have been disqualified as i have given round about 450 UB (UnBarring) connection. Is this a right way??? I had worked hard for 4 months and the company gave me (Disqualified) as a gift.All my hard working got wasted. They even dont gave me any reason why i have been disqualified from the contest.And what about 4 months working for idea??? I had participated in Vodafone and airtel contest last year and i won 21 inch TV in Vodafone and A Dvd player in Airtel. But this time i trusted in your Company, I trusted IDEA because Mr.Manoj told that IDEA will improve his service, at one of the RETAILER PARTY at ahmedabad in 2009, and now won Disqualification in the contest. Am i stop working with Idea Company???? If i will be unjustified, i will stop working for IDEA.

Complaint against the Adiyta Birla Group (IDEA Cellular Pvt. Ltd)

My complaint against the idea cellular mobile company ( Aditya Birla Group) for the Toll free number facility. Which is not activating in our mobile services? From the first day When I taken the Idea Sims card in CUG plain. I gave my complaint to the customer care on 12345 numbers. My Business is Laptops, Desktops and Printer Sale and Service.
For our customer complaint I need daily talk with Laptops or Desktops Company for customer problem with their customer care Toll Free Numbers. Otherwise I talk on their private number. For that I need to pay bill to Idea Company. I give many written complaint with email to the customer care to start my Toll Free dialing facility. I also given my complaint to customer care for this problem. But Still today date 10/04/2010 nobody take serious about my complaint.
At last I given my complaint to TRAI with that hope it was help me in this matter. And Start my Toll Free Facility on my Mobile Number [protected].
