[Resolved]  Idea Cellular Ltd. — Worst behaviour at Idea store

Dear Sir

I would like to draw your attention regarding my concern; I am Mukesh Malik using Idea prepaid number ([protected]) from last 3.5 years. Few days back I have lost my Handset then I called up Idea customer care and spoken to Preeti Pundir I have told her that kindly suspend my number on temporary basis as I have lost my H/S, she confirmed me that this is postpaid department and we can’t suspend your number from here. Then I again dialed the same number ([protected]) & this time my call landed up in prepaid section, this time my call was picked by Mr. sindhu ( Not sure about the exact Name), I have again explained him the whole story but he confirmed me that my number is not updated with my name this updated with Mr. surinder’s name then he suggest me to visit near by Idea showroom with the following documents.

1. FIR copy
2. My ID proof
3. Address Proof.

After one day I have visited at “Comm N Soluitons @ 14 Shankar Vihar Main Vikas Marg Delhi-92” with all the required documents & Met Miss. Neha Arrora or Neha Kapoor ( Not Sure about the Name) but I am surprised by the way she talked to me Please Notice the following things in her behavior.

A. She don’t how to speak to the customer ( Very Very Rude tone and causal Behavior)
B. She Said “ YE Number tumhare naam par nahi hai main ye SIM replace nahi kar skati “ I said Ma’am when took this number I have submitted my documents moreover this sim has also replaced once 1yr back from your pandav nagar office ( Which is closed now). She replied me “ Appko ek baar main samaj nahi atta jaha se SIM liya tha vahi se change karaye Hum kuch nahi kar sakte” yaa Phir Mathura Road jaa kaar hamri Complain Kar Dijye”
C. When I am dialing Customer Care number from there only she & other two Executives were laughing on me.

Is this kind of Customer service Idea supposed to give its customer? This one of the worst customer service in India that I ever faced. Still my number has not been changed neither the customer care department nor so called Idea showroom executives ready to help me.

My Q. is if this number has not been updated on my name how come I have been using it from last 3.5 years, how come I have replaced this SIM earlier from Idea showroom.

Please Take Some Action Regarding Issue

I am subscriber of Idea No.[protected] having life long validity with balance around Rs. 200/- was in working order till 7.00 A.M. today i.e. 05.04.09. A message was thereafter appeared on the screen of my cell phone that " SIM Card registration failed" and since then it is not working. please tell me how it happen and how the services will be restored to me on this number because I am facing problems in this regard.

Hoping for early solution.
I completely agree with you as far as Customer Care of Idea Cellular is concerned.

It is the worst in the country.

Nobody is there to listen to the customer's problems.

I wish that message should spread to all the customers throughout india and especially the CEO of Idea Cellular Ltd. so that some action might be taken to set the things right in this highly competitive environment.

I am going to take every action on net & will ensure that the message reaches to the concerned & responsible managers of the company.

I would like to say that Idea is one of the worst mobile company in Karnataka. I switched to idea on Feb 14th 2011 (that too two postpaid connections). But till that day I didnot recived any E-Bill statements and I was keep on calling customer care services from last 3 months. But they are simply telling any of the post dates, just for the name sake. And finally I paid all my Billed and Un Billed amount and for 1 connection I requested for Post Paid to Pre Paid conversion, But from last 4 days my sim is not at all activated. But my another number still does not receive any bill statement. I think they dont need customers at all.
I am really disaapointed from their services.

I Have Compalint Against Your Idea Store At New C.G.Rad Chandkheda Opp:-Sakar English School At Chandkheda Ahmedabad There Was Worst Behaviour Froam Your Idea Store He Has No sense Of Talking To The Customere. So I Have Kindly Request You To Make Some Changes In The Behaviour Of The Store Othere Wise I am Going To Complain It To Police & As well As To Media Next Time

is there anyway to contact the top officials of idea?
i have trust in the company's management that is the sole reason i am using their service. there is no doubt regarding their service but the franchises that they have given for the my idea store are not good. the franchise owners and their staff behave as if they do not have any responsibility on them. i m refering to the incident that i experienced at the my idea store, darodkar square, C.A road, Nagpur.
i had made my postpaid bill on[protected] at the store but the payment was not made till[protected] and this was not the first time that the payment was delayed. i approached the staff at the store Neha Khan. i asked her about the reason for the payment not being done. and i got a blunt reply saying " dont make the payment from this store, here it is like this only ". then i tried to ask them the contact number of the higher authority or the owner, and they denied to give. i told the male staff that this is not the behavior expected from the staff and i was told to get out of the store as they had no answer.
its not that the idea company is wrong, its just that they are not aware of these issues and they dont the what kind of staff the franchises are hiring. i still have trust in the company and that is why i would like to approach some higher authority and speak to them. i want some action to taken against the staff.
i just hope that this message is read by some authority at idea cellular and some action is taken.

i have openned mobile shop in perundurai area at erode that was near of idea postpaid office.. in that building all shop are empty before of openning my shop. after 1 month idea store was openned.. nearly 1 month only crossing .. in that idea store all EC recharge, mobile sales, sim sales, services also..i clearly notify, main is idea board but all doing as other activity... totally opposing my mobileshop. i inform to the erode district idea TSM but he not take any action...is there idea office or what i tell??? idea pffice totally wrong in perundurai area... please do action from higher authority...i also having evidence copy to show you...

Hi, i have been to Idea showroom near sholley circle in bangalore. they were not ready to attend for what i had been there. There was a person Named Naresha who is very rude arrogant. he behaved very bad which made to feel very uncomfortable to stay there.

I was using Idea connection for 10 years in kerala circle, So i thought to take a new sim.
