[Resolved]  Idea Cellular Ltd — Pested with many calls and smses to buy ringtones and other products

Yes absolutely right. Idea is disturbing us during important works.
Strict action should be taken against idea.

Idea — Unwanted Calls For Ringtones etc.

I am using IDEA number in Piani(Rajsthan).
I am getting unwanted call & messages from IDEA for dialer tones etc from One month.
I requested customer care to unsubscribe these calls.
I send message for this.
now IDEA care says it will take 45 days to unsubscribe it.
There is no rule they distrub me for 45 day.
I am doing Reseach @CEERI pilani.

I paid my bill on 27th of this month and even after reapeted request to customer care my number is not activated yet . This is very frustrating and i could not expect from the company . its my humble request to u that plz take some action on it.

I m also recieving too many unwanted calls and service messages from idea which disturb a lot..

i want to deactivte my card because i don't get proper network in my area so i had gone to my nearest idea office which is at jawhar chock he had talked with me very badly they dont have manner to speak and they say that my card will not get deactivate till three month there is some rule of them. I Think this is no manner to speak with anyone so i reqeust u 2 take some action again'st them

i am having same problem with IDEA connections. Per day I am getting more than 100 unwanted call which come from automated system. It is very very disturbing when talk to customer care they said it will be solved within 45 days and still it is going on...pls help

Kindly arrange to cancel my mobile connection no.[protected] with immediate effect due to the following reasons:
1.Imposing late fee without late payment.
2.Activating caller tune without my knowledge/request two times.
3.Even without activating caller tune, charge was imposed.
4.Even after three months repeated request the complaints was not rectified.
Also I inform you that you can accept my deposit as my current payment.

And daily 6-10 messages of anonymous.

please don't send any message and automated generated calls.

Same story repeated again & again, but Idea cellular keeps sleeping without any problem.

I am an Idea Cellular subscriber in Delhi (cell #: [protected]), I am daily minimum 10 automated message calls trying to sell ring tones, film songs, etc.
I have also tried to activate the "DND" option from their website www.ideacellular.com, but after going through all the pages filling their form and code, I have got the following message " Do Not Disturb The system is under maintenance. Please try after some time."

I dont know when this going to be happen, is this always under maintenance. I think Idea cellular managment is sleeping & no one can move away from this sleep. after so many escalations we dont get any result. Please close this idoit things, these service never demended by an individual then why Idea is pushing it without need.

Is over an year now since u add that comment. m having the same problem.it dn't take a complete year for mainteinance or they are playing any trick by not letting ppl register their number to DND list. =X

I am an Idea Cellular subscriber in Goa (cell #: [protected]) (prepaid ), This is for your information that I have locked my complain 3 times that my sim card is not showing the network . The customer Service dept told me that the Sim card will be activated within 48 hrs but now it is already 80 hrs passed still now it is not activated. Now what to do . I dont know when it is going to happen, is this always under maintenance.I think Idea cellular managment is sleeping ...
