[Resolved]  Idea Net Setter — very slow

recently i have purchased idea net setter. They given the speed upto 236.8 kbps but it is giving speed only upto 20-25 kbps! whenever i go to any site it takes a lot of time to open that page and sometimes it gives error.Also cannot download big size files.Please suggest what to do?.

I purchased my Idea Net Setter two months back. Although, it was very slow in the beginning, but 4 days ago it totally stopped working. When I contacted the GPRS helpline, they said that my limit of 1 GB is over so I should get it recharged, I immediately got it recharged for Rs. 125/- on 28/05/09, but still now it is not activated.

Idea Net Setter — complication in changing of tariff plan

I have purchased idea net setter in month of March 2009 with two months free usage in plan Idea netsetter849 but the company change my plan automatically in plan299 without informing me.When I ask them to change my plan they are asking me for witten application.Today we have many advance technologies yet they are using paper work.What an idea sirji.

idea netsetter is very slow...just coming 2-5 kbps...where is 236.5 kbps

Very Very less speed.Idea told that speed up to 236 kbps, but really I am getting 2.36 kbps. I will support to Idea network

They Just Suck Frod Idea Company just Good for Nothing here They make people Fool Absolutely Dis Gusting i am getting 3 to 4 Kbps Speed I am gooona Pull then To Consumer Court For this Issue This is An Illegal Thing which they Are Doing

i am staying at pune.. got the same net setter and u will be surprised i m getting the downloading speed in decimals kb/s ..its really not worth..my work is suffering due to this

i was really big fan of idea but all my hopes are broken now...:(
Idea means these problems>>>
1.Bad speed
2.Error 619
3.Automatically disconnects
4.Downloading speed goes to 0.00 kbps
5.Can't use onether sim

Please make this idea better sirji...
1.The speed written is 236.8 kbps
2.customer care says the speed is 116 kbps
3.I get only 15 kbps
WHAT AN IDEA TO MAKE PEOPLE FOOL sirji...

If you can't increase speed then give me UNLOCK CODE of it...

I bought a Idea Net setter, From the starting its self the net speed is very slow.
I have launched a complaint to the customer care, They told that within
a week .it will get resolved .But no feedback ..
again, I call the customer care about my complaint, They said
your complain is already closed.
Currently the customer care staff and the Technisians are not answering properly.

They have given the speed of 236 kbbs . But the speed was very slow..

I SUGGEST DONT BUY AN IDEA NET SETTER UNIL IT IS NOT IMPROVED
VERY LESS VALUE FOR MONEY.
IF IDEA NEED TO STAY IN MARKET NEED TO IMPROVE THERE NET SPEED.

You people are really confused with KBits/s and KBytes/s. 1KBytes/s=8KBits/s. Recalculate your speeds.

This was the worst decision of my life. To buy the product from a company that has for years been telling lies about their services and making money off of peoples ignorance. I lost 2500rs as well. So did 5 of my other friends. I now have stopped using the mobile connection i had and also the idea netsetter product of theirs. I am going to file a complaint on the grounds that the company is not giving customers what they had promised in their advertisements. And if they tell me soething big like the fact that there is no way a wireless connection should give better speeds and that we should have read more carefully before buying. I WILL SAY: then stop showing lies in you adverts. saying 256Mbps Broadband and say the truth like it is:
"10kbps DIAL-UP BOTTLE-NECKEDBAND".

I say we all must file complaints in the consumer court for forgery, false claim and TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE.

hey friends i am also using !dea net setter but don't have any problems like you.hmm.. sometimes i got slow speed but its ok, it's only because of network & nothing ealse.

a service like idea i haven't seen before. Altleast they started begging in much complicated way...bloody buggers, i get chance i will [censored] them offf

I stay at Miyapur/BHEL. We get speed ranging 2kb/sec -12kb/sec. really horrible. when purchasing I expected min of of 70kb/sec,

it is very slow.i am getting only 10-50kbps.it requires more than 3 minite to open orkut accont.downloading spped is only 3-5 kbps.range is full.idea cheated me...57

company like idea which has god reputation should provide upgrade to speed
