[Resolved]  Idea Prepaid Service — deduction from prepaid accout

Dear sir,
i m a prepaid customer of idea cellular service on 3rd Sept when i called one of my friend who is also having idea connection that time there was some problem in idea server. i heard 5 different dialer tone instead of the the tone which he has activated.later on i got sms from idea that a dialer tone is activated on my account and deducted 15 rs. activation charge and 30 rs. 1month rent for the dialer tone.On inquiring on customer cell i was informed that i have pressed * key during the call "which i did not" and it was totally the problem of idea server but they did not accepted my point and refused to refund the balance.however i immediately applied to discontinue the dialer tone service from my account.please inform me if anything can be done in my case.



i also think there must me immediate change in this dialer tone facility. few suggestions are.

1.if a Pearson press * button by mistake and immediately inform to service provider his balance should be refund how ever service provider can charge some amount as penalty.

2.instead of single digit * it can be *# or some other two or three digit process to activate the dialer tone to avoid errors.

3.it can be a individual service instead o[censored]niform service and person has to register first to activate one touch dialer tone service.

please take necessary action on the issue because lots of people are suffering from this unnecessary one touch dialer service and telecoms companies r earning million of money by this unfair ways.

BAD SERVICE OF IDEA PREPAID IN BHILAI( CHATTISGARH ) THE DISTRIBUTOR IS NOT GIVING THE PROPER SERVICE TO THE RETAILOR AND WE THE CUSTOMER IS NOT GETTING THE SERVICE.SO SOON TAKE SOME ACTION AS WE CAN GET PROPER SERVICE.

I totally agree with this. Idea customer service dont even try to understand customer complaints or they are totally dumb terminals manned by illiterate workforce.

I am your regular customer havine mobile no. is [protected]. Last month on July 22 I got a message requesting for a caller tune activation. That time my mobile had zero balance and took massage as a my friend’s joke.



But surprising after two day I was charged for Rs. 10/= from my mobile and than after I got a massage from Idea that is “ since you do not have enough balance to renew your dialer tone. A partial amount 7.0 has been deducted toward the renewal & validity is extended accordingly”, I remained surprised because I had not given any such type of request when I talked with customer care executive he totally ignored me to take my complain & he disconnected my call and next some time I had to talk customer care. Finally they disconnected my connections. Two time I mailed to your customer care and I shocked their ignorance.



Also it is pertinent to mention that the same problem happened with my brother having mobile no [protected] having Delhi region.



I am surprised and shocked to see your such tantamount and lackadaisical behavior toward customer and finally I have decided to switch over to other private subscriber like Vodafone other.



Hence I wait for your reply within 2 days and failing which I have no alternate except to switch over to others.

Idea Prepaid Service — reason for disconnection of service

I am a customer of the Idea prepaid services for a long time. I had submitted my photo and Identification documents already about 3 or 4 years ago. I got a message that I can ignore the instruction to submit the document if I had already done . But to my surprise the service is disconnected from today. Please reconnect immediately.

idea prepaid service — unfair deduction from balance

I am zankhana from ahmedabad. I am using idea from last 3 years..but i must say the service of idea is getting worst n worst day by day....i did recharge of 84rs i got msg tht my rc is activated.thn i checked my message bal it was showing 500 msg in my a/c. After seeing my bal of msg i started sending msgs to my frndz...And i saw that the bal was deducted from my main balance instead of msg bal...
For this i called to customer care they were taking my compliant so casually i talked to them for 1 hr but nine of them gave me satisfied answer. From customer care executive to floor manager Mr. Santosh every1 took it as fun did not showed any interest in my complain and beside all this, only for irritating me they were keeping my call on hold without informing me and at last when i said i want satisfactory answer they said sorry madam i gave u detail now m disconnected the call n he disconnected the call.
Instead of sovling my prob they were teaching me that i should call costumer care after the rc is done as if m free ..dont i have any other work to do tht i will call them them time after rc...They said this rc take 3hrs i said if this rc take 3hrs they should not show me 500 msg in balance this is something they are misguiding customer. just imagine 20 rs from one customer a huge amt they earn by such fraud ...and such useless customer care executives instead of helping us jus make fun and disconnect the call..i am going to give this in newspaper, and wil post everywhere in forums online. I want people should be aware of such big frauds done by idea.

Your customer care service is very bad.First of all no body take the call, if it happened they are unable to give satisfactory answer of my query.When I asked your executive about the unnecessary deduction of balance from my prepaid account, they disconnect my call.This is highly frustrating.

My Cell No. [protected] & Automatically subscribed to Idea tv twice and idea calender. I want to unsubscribe it immediately. I requested many times with customer care service to deactivate but still it is not deactivated. It is a day robbery they are cheating the valuable customers. pls help me in this regard...

IDEA/PREPAID — useless deduction of money

Hi Sir,
I'm a regular customer of idea from the last 3-4 years. but this time i'm feeling very sad that i'm using this idea connection from this much time. this time i'm getting frustrated by the false excuses given by the idea headoffice employees of noida.
i have been raised an issue 2 weeks ago on the cheated deduction of money from my amt. on that time they sad that there was a deduction of net 20/ day plan , and on that topic i said that yes you're true and please deactivate this service now. and they posted a complaint regarding this service and after few minutes i received a deactivation confirmation message. Even after all this, they still carrying on deducting Rs.20 everyday from my amt.. There were some more deduction on my no. and the service was 425 mid pack. on this, i asked them that how could i activate this service on my no. because there has been DND activated on my no. for the last 2 years. and even they people didn't know anything abt.the service. and there was nothing seeing on their system regarding this service. and on that i took out my phone and shown them the message of deduction information of this 425 mid pack scheme.
it's been so sad that this reputed idea company making people mad and happily deducted people money which they will get after a very hardwork.They people deducted almost Rs.300 from my amt. without any reason. Sir, i'm not a very rich person and working in a very small company and i can't afford this robbery.
Sir, please tell me where i'm wrong? you know very well that after DND activation we could not be able to activate any service on our no. because we could not receive any messages or phone calls from the company .
This is the very unhealthy or irresponsible behaviour which i was not expected from idea. Sir , please... do something regarding this as earliest possible otherwise you're going on deduction and i'll not be able to do any recharge on this no. and please refund my deducted amt. I'm so thankful of you.

Idea Cellular — unfair deduction from prepaid account

Sir,
this is to inform u regarding idea fraudulently deducting 250 rupees from my wifes cell phone.
i had gone to bangkok for my honeymoon on 2nd feb 2011 and when i returned home my wife realised that 100 rs has been deducted from her account. On the 9th of feb a further 149 rs were deducted from her account.

I called the idea call centre several times, initially for the first 3 calls they kept telling me that the 100 rs deduction is for receiving an incoming call from some no. which they said they cant divulge. As far as the 149 rs deduction is concerned every call centre personnel kept telling me that he/she has no information abt that and hence i should call after 4 hrs. I kept calling till 8 in the night, to no avail.
The next morning i called again but this time i again got the same info saying they have no news abt the 150 deduction but this time the lady tells me that the 100 rs deduction is for making an outgoing call from bangkok( this is completely impossible as my wife had kept her cell phone switched off and all calls were made from my cell). Now i lost my patience and shouted, to which they kept me on hold and finally came up with this excuse saying that 149 rs deduction is for international roaming rental.
I asked them i did not activate my international roaming, to which they say it gets activated by default. (would like to mention, i was carrying vodafone and uninor sim but there were no deductions on those 2 nos. at all, which clearly shows that idea is on a robbing spree).
The next day i called idea customer care (12345) again and spoke to one of the executives again but just asked him how much is the rental for international roaming? and he tells me there are no charges for international roaming. Then when i mentioned this incident to him he came up with another excuse saying the international roaming rentals are applicable to certain cities. So take note of the contradictory statements these guys are making.

I would sincerely like to request you to help me out of this, its not the question of 250 rs but question of my confidence to fight against many other firms doing the same to many others.
