I am a very unfortunate buyer of IFB fully automatic washing machine. I bought the machine in January 2008 at a very high premium as compared to other brands thinking that quality and service will be good. However, I rudely shaken that within one monh there was a problem with the machine. However, the problem was sorted out. Now, again the machine stopped working totally on 29 July 08. I lodged a complaint on 30th at company's help line. On 1st, a mechanic came and said that motor is faulty and he will replace the same on Monday (4th August). He came and replaced the motor. However, the machine still did not work. The mechanic was not sure of the problem and kept talking on the phone. After 2 hrs of trial and error, he finally said that he was unable to repair the same as he did not know about the model. He then put us in touch with Amit Ananad who claimed to be head for service for north. He assured us that complaint will be sorted out by next day. However, the promises were false. Since then nobody has called up or bothered to chk inspite of repeated followup at call centre and branch office every day. We have even written on company's websitr. Even after that, there is no feedback regarding the complaint. We would like to request this honourable forum to kindly help us in getting back our refund for the machine plus compensation for the harassment caused.
