Even in my case at Bangalore the same thing is happenning. I lodged a complaint for non working of my IFB Microoven (which was purchased 10 months back). Promptly I received the complaint ticket No. 2274938 on[protected] and with in one week a engineer promptly visited my house and told that a door beeding and spring has to be changed and as it is in warranty period he assured of bringing them and changing. Even after lapse of more than one month neither the engineer has come nor my Microoven is repaired. Always when I contact the help line and also the local regional office ( a number given by the helpline), I get the steriotypic reply that the spares are not yet received. Is it the way of a so called reputed (claimed) company should deal with customers after sales. I am thinking of approaching the consumer forum for this poor service. Am I right????
I am also using the IFB washing machine since 1 month..but i used till now 3 times and the adapter was broken..i lodged a complaint till now nobody turned up..and i want to give a complaint against one person named Anand who don't know how to deal with the customers..service is very bad..and plz take an action against that ...
The service of IFB has become redundent, as no one bother of the service after AMC or purchase.
I am using the service for the last 6 years, why because parts are not available in the market.Otherwise, i would have never taken AMC with IFB.Even they are not bother to call the customer after the AMC.

16 Oct 08 : Machine was installed and a Demo was given by the
representative and fault occured as 'E3' on the first instance.
17 Oct 08 : Fault was rectified by the representative.
During the month of Oct 08 the machine was used 3 times over a period of 10 days. Again another fault occured as 'E4'. Complaint was lodged vide complaint number 2384227.
04 Nov 08 : Representative attended.
Diagnosised as : Rejector Problem.
12 Nov 08 : Rejector was changed but of no use.
Diagnosised as : 806 Board reqd to be changed.
13 Nov 08 : 806 board changed but of no use.
Latest Diagnosis : Gear Problem.
The new machine has been faulty most of the time and hardly been of any use.
Service provided is totally unsatisfactory.
You are requested to replace the machine with a new one at the earliest. Customer is out of patience.
