[Resolved]  Ignou — Why most of students of IGNOU leave their course before completion.

Dear Sir,

I have completed my BDP examination. However, my Assignment Marks of EEG-3 have not been updated since August 2003. I had been over to my Center No. 2804 several times and they mentioned that the marks have been sent to your office but it was not updated. In April 2009 I was sent by my Center to personally hand over the marks at Bikash Bhavan office which I have done.

Waiting patiently on hearing from your end.

Sir, I have just sent a complaint regarding my EEG-3 marks not entered for TMA 2 & 3. Kindly note my enrolment number is[protected].

I cleared my MS 05, 06, 07, 08 exam in dec 2008, but till date i have not received my assignment marks, although on net it is showing only term end result, pl. explain why?

.I have completed my BDP through ignou, with enrolnment no[protected].However in my grade card some of my subjects marks are not updated with the addition weightage of the assignment marks.Those subjets are ECO-13, EEG-5, EEG-6, EEG-7, FST-1 are pending.I have cleared all the written paper. Therefore it is showing not completed. Please do necessary action to change it in completed.And need my Grade Card and Provisional Certificate.

Friends, like all others who have made complaints about IGNOU on this webpage, I am also gonna add feathers to IGNOU's cap. I have been a student of IGNOU MCA but have decided to leave the course midway because IGNOU is not worth conducting courses like MCA and in my view any other course for that matter. They have made a mockery of education. Now I share with you all my harrowing experience :

I was a student of MCA. As I am doing a job, I dont get much time to study. So in order to score good marks I decided to prepare for 3 out of 5 papers and with my good preparation, appeared in those 3 papers but to my surprise I did not get marks I was expecting. So I applied for re-evaluation. I will tell u the change in marks after re-evaluation later. Although I had lost interest in doing the course, I thought to complete 1st year and get PG Diploma instead of MCA. And with this thought in mind, I appeared in 2 out of 4 papers in the 2nd Semester. Again the same bad result. While in 1st semester, I had been able to qualify in the 3 papers I had appeared for, in 2nd Semester, I could not even qualify in any of the papers. Now again I applied for re-evaluation in both the papers I appeared for. You all now see the change in my marks after re-evaluation :

Paper 1: 63% and after re-evaluation 67%
Paper 2: 58% and after re-evaluation 92%
Paper 3: 29% and after re-evaluation 46%
Paper 4: 04% and after re-evaluation 55%

I have not applied for re-evaluation in just one paper out of five papers in which I appeared just because I was not sure about the re-evaluation system although I was expecting more marks in that paper also. And I am sure, if I had applied for re-evaluation in that paper also, my marks would have increased in that paper also.

Now you all can think of the evaluation system of IGNOU. They are getting our papers checked by uneducated people who dont know the ABC of the courses.

Please dont take admission in this worthless univerisity.

Dear sir,
I am a student of BCA 5th semester. I have paid all the amounts required for filling up the examination forms which includes the Theory and the Practical Fees through a demand draft and also mentioned my full address ie, 61-N, CBI Colony Vasant VIhar, New Delhi-57. But I could not get the Hall Tickets in my said address in the right time and the right place. And regarding the Practical examinations, I received the acknowledgment card but the center has been changed without any notification. The institution has further required me to pay the practical fees again for the subject of CS- 68 and CS-69 which i have already paid in the Demand Draft while filling up the examination form.
I, therefore, request the FAQ members to provide me a solution of my problems so that i could appear in the practical exam on the scheduled time and place.
