[Resolved]  Income Tax Dept — refund of tax

i have been filed my IT return for the FY-2011-12 on 07 Jul 2011 at ITO Khanna, District. Ludhiana vide acknowledgement no: 29100077. My PAN No is BKZPS4755C. My DDO was deduct excess tax for Rs 6180/-. I have approached many times to IT office khanna but my refund is not received till now. They said the refund has been made at Bangalore office and is being sent to you earlier. I have already send request throw them. You are requested to please do needful. mob-[protected]

Income Tax Dept — Refund

I used the Income Tax departmet's online feature to pay my tax. The first transaction ended abruptly and so I transacted again to pay the tax.
On checking my bank account, I found that the failed transaction debited the amount.
Through Bank, I obtained the Challan - both for good and bad transactions and have written complaint to IT asking for a refund.
It has fallen on deaf years. Probably this money is part of fund that goes to fund Hajj trip or a minister's junket.

Never use the Online site of IT to pay taxes again.
