[Resolved] Income Tax Refund — NON RECEIPT OF INCOME TAX REFUND | |
THOUGH INCOME TAX REFUND FOR AT008-09 AMOUNTING TO RS 7200 APPX WAS PASSED FOR PAYMENT TO ME ON 31.07.09, THE REFUND HAS NOT REACHED ME TILL DATE FOR THE REASONS BEST KNOWN TO DEALING OFFICIALS. I HAD DESIRED THE REFUND THROUGH ECS- FOR REASONS BEST KNOWN TO CONCERNED OFFICIALS MY ACCOUNT NO WAS NOT STATED CORRECTLY TWICE - THIRD TIME THE REFUND WAS SENT TO ME BY SPEED POST ON DEC 2009 BUT THE ADDRESS WAS WRONGLY MENTIONED. CONSEQUENTLY THE REFUND HAS NOT REACHED ME TILL DATE. THE INCOME TAX OFFICIALS ARE STILL WAITING FOR THE STATUS OF MY REFUND: WHICH ACCORDING TO THEM ON THE SITE IS :SENT:. I have not received my refund for Rs.8581/= for the A.Y.[protected] and Rs.499/=[protected]but received for the year[protected] &[protected] inspite of numerous enquiries made.
Please let us know the status .

I have not received my refund for the year 2007--08. my refund cheque was returned by the postal department wrongly.The cheque letter not received by our postoffice. The letter was wrongly returned by the vandalur sub post office. so i request you to make arrangement to send my refund returned cheque at early as possible.

Dear sir,
I had filed my IT return on 22/05/08 for the assessment year
[protected]. My PAN no is AAMPHL0162L. The acknowledgment no of the return
submitted by me is [protected]. The refund amount was Rs.4352/-.From the
internet I found that due to incorrect MICR code written by me in the
return, the refund could not be materialized by the department. Later on I
wrote the Assessing Officer, Income Tax, Word no.15(1), Kolkata stating the
correct MICR code and eleven digit Bank account no. The said letter was
sent twice, once to their E-mail address and second time to their drop box
at Kolkata. A reasonable period has already elapsed but still I got no
reply or refund.

YES.
As per refund banker's instruction I went to my Assessing Officer with an application for correction my Bank Account number and they have also confirmed me that they have incorporate the correct account no. in their system and informed refund banker also but till date there is no correction in my account, nor i have got my fresh refund order.
My refund banker is confirming me that they have not received my correct account number from my Assessing Officer and at the same time my Assessing Officer is informing me that they have already sent my correct account number to the refund banker.
Now, i am in a deep trouble.
