[Resolved] Income Tax Refund — Refund Cheque not received | |||
I have not received my Income Tax Refund for assessment year[protected]. However, as per the update provided in the website https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/oltas/servlet/TaxRefundStatus#, the refund cheque has been dispatched on 05th Oct' 2010. The same has been sent through Speed Post (EY[protected]IN) with Ref No. CMPP2785108. I also contacted the SBI Contact Centre[protected] on several occasion. However, I have been advised that the refund cheque may take 7 to 10 day to reach. Later I, contacted the Speed Post department and they have informed that no such Speed Post has been booked till date. Several e-mails have been sent to [protected]@sbi.co.in and [protected]@incometaxindia.gov.in. There is no response received on the same till date. Kindly advice the next course of action. I Pradip Kumar Dutta, PAN NO. AKLPD2888G, of Kandi Kalabagan, P.O. Kandi, Dist. Murshidabad, West Bengal. I like to inform that I have received a refund cheque for the Assessment Year 2009 - 10, Amount in rupees 590 /-, Cheque No. 126110, dated 24/09/2010. But in the cheque my Bank A/C No. wrongly mention [protected] instead of [protected]. How can I receive a new cheque. Please help me.

NAME DR. MEENAL GUPTA PAN NO. AEVPG1946G A.Y[protected], WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED OUR INCOME TAX REFUND TILL TODAY. I ASSESSED IN WARD 37(4) IN VIKAS BHAVAN NEW DELHI I, Santosh Mahadev Pawar, holding PAN no. ADYPP4960D have filed my Income Tax Return with you for the Financial Year[protected], Assessment Year[protected].
Further, a copy of my Form-16 issued by organisation (CBI) Govt. of India. As per the details given in my Form-16, I was to pay a total income tax of Rs. 4, 651/=. However, my salary was deducted for an amount of Rs. 6, 180/= i.e. an amount of Rs. 1, 529 was deducted in excess. This was properly mentioned in the Income Tax Return filed by me during July 2010.
It is therefore requested that, please do the needful to get my money back at the earlist.

Have you yet received your refund cheque ? I have a similar issue and the cehcque was sent in August 2010, but not yet delivered. Follow-ups have not yeilded any results so far.
