[Resolved]  Indane LPG — delay in supply of refill cylinder

Sheela Gas agency/Indane LPG — Delay in gas supply

I made a LPG booking on 15th of January 2012. My gas distribution agency is Sheela Agency J P Nagar. Today is the 30th January. I have not received it. They have informed me that the booking is accepted on 20th due to the 28 day gap requirement in booking. They had promised it would arrive by 25th. Now, each time I call they tell me there will be further delay. Today I spoke to the Manager and she informed me that there is shortage of supply and hence there will be another few days delay. I am not aware through any news channel of a shortage of LPG supply for consumers. Please understand that common people like us who do not want to adopt corrupt means of obtaining LPG are going through tremendous discomfort due to this delay in delivery. Kindly let me know what is the real issue. If there is truly a LPG shortage in the country, we should be intimated through newspapers and media so that we can take appropriate precautions.
