India Today Book Club — wrong messages to public

i made payment thru creditcard for reebok fitness kit & reebok track suit . finally i got two wrist watches which is no use for me.
i was called up by them that u hv been selected for prize worth Rs 55000/-max. when mine coupon was opened , i was told that u hv to pay Rs 29000/- as your prize is 180000/-. i dont know what is this.

India Today Book Club — cheated by offers of free gifts

I was offered by india today book club one nokia mobile at a cost of 6000 rs,along with which a free gift of Holiday package of 3d/4n ,along with return domestic ticket worth 7000 was there.I got the phone whose market value was less than 4000.I never got my gift.despite my repeated calls they r not responding.It is already 9-10months....do something

India today seems to be a big fraud. I have paid Rs.6000 for a holiday voucher, and the site onwhich i can book my holidays never showed any vacancy. I later figured out that there is no vacancy at any of the locations. I then called up to find out what is the reason and then came to know that the site does not work. They promised to refund my money. I sent lot of e-mails and made phone calls and every time I call up they say the payment is in process and will be paid in 21 days. lot of 21 days had passed by but no money is returned. THe prople sitting at[protected] are bunch of jokers who are propgrammed to say that the payment will be received in 21 days. If you show even a little bit of frustration they just disconnect the phone. you cannot talk to any one senior because the guys will not transfer the line.

Beware of this fraud.
