India Today Book Club — Unable to claim free gifts

I have paid an amount of Rs 2598/- for 7 DVDs. I have recieved the cds and one free gift. But not complete set as said in phone while purchasing. Invoice number ORA09004629. In the pack it is mentioned that i have to claim for the remaining gifts, But the website http://www.bookstoday.in/promos.htm is always saying "You have made incorrect entries. Kindly check and enter once again !!!". I called customer care 5 times and every time it is said that the problem will be rectified in another one hour from yesterday. So far i dint find any progress. Request you to check once what the problem is and hhow to proceed further. Thank you Was this information helpful? No (0) Yes (0)

India Today Book Club — Free gifts not delivered

I brought music today CD pack, which being promoted by India Today Book Club.
The purchase was made in March 2009 and I am still following up.
I am fed up seeing the automated email replies.

They are not providing me the option to return the purchase or send the free gifts as per the promotion.

I doubt this company is India today group, very upset to be cheated by big brands.

I registerd the complain at book club call center that unique code provided by them is not working, it was said that the unique code will be activated in 48 h but uptill now it is not working, they are not even replying to my emails and calls, if they are not ready to send free gift then they should at least say this, so that i should not waste my time by making calls and sending emails to book club, these things are not expected from india today group.

India Today Book Club — Not delivering the free gift

I had ordered a collection of 4 CDs which was supposed to be accompanied by a free Reebok watch. The package arrived and I accepted it COD. The CDs were there but no watch and a lot of mumbo jumbo about logging at their website with an unique number and claiming the gift. The website is continuously rejecting my entry and nobody is answering the phone. Their products are good enough. Why are they cheating people to sell them ?

I have paid Rs 999.00 to India Today Book club, the invoice No: ORA[protected] dt 30-7-09, Order No : 0GA[protected].7.09, IBT MEMBERSHIP NO : IBTC0978200,

I have received the 7dvd but to claaim the FREE GIFTS the Web page http://www.bookstoday.in/promos.htm does not open, the time limit is only 60 days only trying to open the log in page.

Please assist.

Sir,
I have purchased book "COLLINS COMPLETE HISTORY OF THE WORLD", the same was dispached vide invoce no. ORA[protected] DATED 17-09-09, in the said invoice I was asked to collect my gift by logging on to www.bookstoday.in/promos.htm. Dispite of several attempts the logging was failed dispite the filling in the correct unique number. It appears that the company has play some sort of mischief to voo its costomers. These things malign the reputation of the company.

India Today Book Club — Free gift not delivered

I had ordered "Agatha Christie- Set 0f 7 DVD's" ( order number - OGA[protected], invoice number - ORA[protected] with IndiaToday Book Club. With this order I was promised a free gift - Reebok Sunglasses - but this free gift has not been delivered to me yet. Upon contacting India Today Book Club call centre, they gave the excuse that they are facing technical issues with their system because of which they are not able to service my request.
Its been more than 2 months and I have not been updated on the status of my free gift.

On another case, I order United Colors of Benetton watch from India Today Book club. This watch is not working.

I had purchased the kodak camera from ITBC and with this I got 2 free offers. When I went to claim offer in website, it was asking to type the promotion code and my email ID. In spite of number of attempts, I could not proceed further, since it says

This is really ridiculous. What should I do now?
