I HAVE RECIEVED CUSTOMER OF DISTINCTION CERTIFICATE ALSO MY MEMBERSHIP NO. ITBC08596762. BUT I HAVE NOT RECIEVED ANY INVOICE NUMBER OR INVOICE, NEITHER HAVE I RECIEVED AND SPECIAL CODE. NEITHER CAN I PUNCH IN THESE DETAILS FOR THE FREE GIFTS. I NEED THEM IMMEDIATELY. I HAVE PAID RS. 736 FOR THE VPP PARCEL. PLEASE RESPOND FAST.

I, a registered member of that club received a CD full of scratches from them on an order which is not reading and not usable. My CD is also 'Nature' from Encyclopaedia Britannica.

Further I ordered for some books and I got one of the free gifts i.e. an ADIDAS Bag which is also in a damaged condition. I complained to them by e-mail but there is no reply. I am yet to receive the other two free gifts promised.

Istanbul by Pamuk — Non-delivery of books

Please refer to my order no. 4900242 . This is for a book by Orhan Pamuk about the city of Istanbul. I got an email saying the book was despatched on 29 Sept by courier aramex. I have not got the book yet. I got the other book titled A Python in a Snake Park which was part of the same order.
If you do not do the needful I will take up the matter with the consumer court.

MY MEMBERSHIP NO IS ITBC 07307341. I PURCHASED SAZ 16 AND REGISTERED FOR FREE GIFT ON THE INTIMATED WEBSITE. IT WAS ACKNOWLEDGED AND DELIVERY WAS ENSURED IN 15 DAYS. NOTHING CAME. ON INQUIRY, I WAS INFORMED THAT THE REGISTRATION WAS NOT RECORDED IN THEIR RECORDS. AS I TRIED REREGISTRATION, THE WEBSITE INTIMATES THAT THE INFO TO BE RERECORDE, EVEN IT WAS ENTERED EXACTLY AS PER THE INVOICE.
IT IS NORMALLY THE CASE WITH THE CUSTOMER CARE OF INDIA TODAY BOOK CLUB. MY REQUEST FOR GIVING THE CONTACT DETAILS OF AN AUTHORITY WHO COULD TAKE ANY DECISION IS UNHEEDED.

I have given offer for adidas shoes with 5000 Rs jewellery voucher and 5000 rs holiday voucher, total for Rs 2249/-. Sales person told that amount will deducted in 3 EMI, when I confirm my order they has deducted full amount instead of EMI from my account. I has cancel order due to this fraud. Then after bookclub give me complaint number for refund of my payment that is RE08000485 on 6th of October and commit me that I will get refund within 45 days. when I called after 45 days, on 15th November, I got new commitment that it will take 60 days means till 6th of December I got my payment. When I called again on 28th November that is there my refund cheque ready to dispatch, they give me new commitment that refund process take 60 days more. Means I can get my refund now till February, 2009. That means this company give commitment n commitment. What should to be do, please anyone suggest me. I also have all recorded communications.

I PLACED AN ORDER WITH INDIA TODAY BOOK CLUB (ORDER NO. MITBC-WEB[protected] ON OCTOBER 22, 2008. THE PAYMENT (RS. 2598/-) WAS MADE BY ME (THROUGH CREDIT CARD) AT THE TIME OF PLACING THIS ORDER ITSELF.

THE SAME DAY, I RECEIVED THE PAYMENT CONFIRMATION FROM INDIA TODAY BOOK CLUB THROUGH AN EMAIL FROM [protected]@offers.indiatodaybookclub.com.

ITS BEEN MORE THAN 35 DAYS NOW AND DESPITE MY REGULAR FOLLOW UP (WRITTEN AS WELL AS ORAL), I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE GOODS. THREE DAYS BACK, TO MY UTMOST SURPRISE, I WAS INFORMED BY ONE OF THEIR CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVES OVER PHONE THAT THE GOODS ORDERED BY ME ARE UNAVAILABLE AND I MAY SEND AN EMAIL AT [protected]@indiatodaybookclub.com REQUESTING FOR REFUND. WHEN I ASKED THEM TO REFUND MY MONEY, I WAS INFORMED THAT IT WOULD TAKE THEM 45 DAYS TO REFUND.

WHAT THE HELL IS THIS??? ARE THE CUSTOMERS TREATED AS FOOLS IN INDIA??? SHOULD WE START DISBELIEVING GIANTS LIKE INDIA TODAY??? I AM SERIOUSLY UNHAPPY WITH THIS DEAL OF MINE AND REQUEST EVERYBODY TO BE AWARE OF SUCH TRAPS!!!

I WILL DEFINITELY TRY MY LEVEL BEST TO TEACH THEM A LESSON AND WON'T BE AFRAID OF TAKING A LEGAL ACTION AGAINST THIS COMPANY AS WELL.
