I paid Rs.2499 for CD's, books, Gogles, Holiday coupen etc but I have not Received FREE HOLIDAY COUPEN.

Hallo. I wish to get the list of winners of Sweepstakes Contest of India Today Book Club. An email address was given - indiatodaybookclub.com which does not exist now. How can I get the list of winners.

India Today Book Club — NON-DELIVERY OF ORDERED PRODUCT-16 CD PACK WITH FREE GIFT

I had ordered the 16 CD pack featuring performance by the masters of Indian Classical Music in rsponse to their letter a copy of which is attached. I had remitted the cost of the pack Rs.2498 by demand draft No.547298 dated 22.05.2010 drawn on Union Bank of India, Service Branch, New Delhi. On enquiry with the drawee branch I understand that the demand draft had been paid to the company on 03.07.2010. But I have not received the CD and the promised gift so far. It is now alomost 4 months since I paid the money and still there is no information from your end. A previous communication sent to you last month also remain unresponded. I shall be glad to know the current status immediately. Then I tried to contact over phone using the number given in the letter. But the phone was ringing and no body was lifiting the phone. Hence I searched internet and collected the phone number of Ms. Poonam Sangha's Office[protected]. This phone also was ringing and no body was answering. Therefore, I sent an e-mail to Ms. Poonam in the mail ID given in the website of Living Media. But that mail too bounced. It appears that the company is cheating the customers by sending false promises. Now I have no option but to approach the Consumer Protection Council of India, with all these evidences. Before that I am trying this source also. Please help to resolve the issue.

One Mr.Sreekanth of ITBC talked to me on[protected] at 5:36pm
One Mr.Praveen of ITBC talked to me over telephone on[protected] at 5:15pm
One Ms.Ankita spoke of ITBC spoke to me on[protected] at 3.30pm
Around a month back again one person contacted me from ITBC over telephone and informed that the parcel meant for me could not be delivered as my house could not be located, according to him. He took landmark,etc. again and i also gave him all details..
So please take necessary steps immediately to forward all items mentioned above to me

I have received the call from [protected] for rebok shoe of rs 1198 and free some stupid vouchers. while finilising my order i cancelled my order when I realised that it may fake. and also blocked my credit card imm. and also told the credit card dept imm to stop payment. but still they have not cancelled the order nad send me the wrong sized shoes, which i refused to accept.

Please Beware of such calls from This company.

I had ordered for 16 CD pack of Ragas on 15.6.2010 with a crossed cheque of Rs 2498. The cheque has been encashed by india today book club on 14.08.2010 ( cheque no 00476677 , Canara Bank. Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati). Till now there is no sign of the CD’S nor the promised free gifts of Reebok sunglasses, Free Holiday Stay & Bestseller Pack.

I hereby urgently request you to see to the matter and see that the ordered CD’s plus the free gifts are delivered to my address given below.

If it is not done immediately, I am afraid I have to register a case of fraud by your company of duping customers.

India Today Book Club — Item ordered was not in the packet received

I had ordered a reebok wallet + key chain from indiatoday book club and when the package arrived, there was no wallet!!! Only the key chain. My order no. is 0GA[protected] dated 6 October 2010. It was a VPP order. They had charged Rs.299 + Rs15 and I opened the package only after I paid the money to the postman. If they cannot deliver goods properly, then why are they open?

I have received a telephone call on 23-Aug-10 from Living Media India Limited. Mr. Roshan Kumar (Senior Executive – Gold Box Department) explained me the below mentioned facts.
1 – Three person selected / winner from all India.
2 – I am one of them.
3 – My confirm win is Rs 110000/- in form of Cash or Jewellary.
4 – In case of cash win it will be directly credited in my bank account within three days.
5 – One person already win the cash & another person win the jewellary & my maximum chance to win the cash.
6 – A purchase is required for open the gift box . Purchase details mentioned below
A Samsung 22 inch LCD television Total Cost Rs 18897/- ( Rs 17699 + Rs 1198) (MRP Rs 24000/-) alongwith gift of Rs 8000/- plus Processing fees Rs 1196/- in two part Rs 598/- & Rs 598/-
7 – I have paid the total amount of Rs 20093/- through credit card.
8 - After the above mentioned payment Mr Santosh / Mr Yogesh told me that your gift amount increased now Rs 165000/- but you have to purchase another articles of Rs 10698/- (A Digital Camera & Apple Ipod) plus Processing fees Rs 598/-
9 – I have made the another payment of Rs 11296/-

Complaints
Living Media India Limited not fulfill the commitment. Why I will pay processing fees for such vouchers? They should pay / disburse the gift as explained. Vouchers are not at par of cash. Price charged are higher as compare to market. They also charges Rs 699/- + Rs 699/- handling charges for television & for Camera & Ipod resp.
These items are available across the India. What is the use of 5-6 similar watches? They also confirmed me that you have not to pay any amount for purchase of jewellary.

Dear Sirs,

I have purchased 3 CD's for Rs. 574/- from Living Media India Ltd. India Today Book Club, B-47, Indira Enclave, Neb Sarai, NEW DELHI - 110068 (Tel No.[protected] Fax :[protected] on 27.11.2009 received by me through Courier vide their Invoice No. ORA[protected] DATED 22.11.2009.
Further, their was Free Bag and Holiday Voucher for Rs. 5000/- for Couple. The ITBC Membership No. given to me for claiming the said Gifts is ITBC09160594. As per the terms, I have filled the Booking Request Form and posted the same to Premier Sales Promotions Pvt. Ltd., P.O.Box No. 5042, Bangalore - 560001 on 06.01.2010. After repeated Telephone calls (Tel. No.[protected] till today I have not received any correspondence from them.
Please look into it and please inform me for further action to be taken.

It is regret to say that even after making complaints on consumer complaints.in I have not received refund of Rs 14998/- from your side.Even after getting assurance from executive over phone before one month.It shows that your company is not serious about complaint of customer. It seems that you want to go for leagal actions by me against your club.So instead of making phone calls and offering me new product please refund my amount immediatly as you are loosing faith by delaying actions and intemate your actions through email on my email id.

India Today Book Club vide mail ([protected]@offers.indiatodaybookclub.com) dated 20.04.10 had offered Encyclopaedia+Air Ticket+Holidays for Rs.3198/-. The mail also stated that the offer is valid for a couple for 65+ destinations in India, that only 3 to 5 star property are offered, that offer is for 2 night & 3 Days of Accommodation, 2 Veg meals and return Air Tickets and that the Holiday Package is valid for 1 year.

On 29.04.10, after debiting the amount of Rs.3198/- from my Credit Card, mail was sent from “[protected]@indiatodaybookclub” informing that my order has been put under process with order no TELESALES/0GA[protected]. The order value is Rs. 3198 and Order Date is 28-APR-10. the mail further stated that I will receive an email and a sms with my despatch details soon.

I received the Encyclopaedia after a couple of days from 29.04.10. when I contacted India Today Book Club through their mail id “[protected]@indiatodaybookclub” and Tel No.[protected] for claiming the Holiday offer therewas no response. In fact I sent 3 mails from 21.10.10 to 08.11.10 and called up[protected] several times. They talked very nicely before getting the money. After wards no reply at all for the mails sent.

my order id is[protected] my account already debited on 25.10.2010 but till date no gift recd so far. please help the needy.
