My dad got this from India today book club.
Our Sweepstakes Committee has authenticated your status as a potential finalist of the Rs. 60, 00, 000.00 Sweepstakes and the prize funds have already been approved. Now, you can win Rs.8, 00, 000.00 or one of the 1002 other prizes in our Rs.60, 00, 000.00 Sweepstakes.
But after reading all the above post i to doubt over it as a some common spam mail of internet.

When i Purchase Reebok Watch, They told me, A Holiday Voucher available with this Offer. But till NOW i Didn't Receive my Voucher. VERY VERY WORST CUSTOMER CARE. I am going to say about wrong commitement from executives of Indiatoday Bookclub for sales promotions.
On date[protected], at round about 4.0 Indiatoday Bookclub executive called me and says that the I have been selected in Draw and minimum 25000 price is guarated to me but for to get that prize I have to make purchase it on must be on same date. They sent me details on my mail ID and I finalised the KODAK cam and payment was made through Credit Card at date & time[protected].45 PM amounting Rs. 6098
On anothder day
On date[protected], at round , Indiatoday Bookclub executive called me and says that the I have been selected in Draw and minimum 25000 price is guarated to me but for to take part in higher amount draw upto Rs 8.00 lacs, I have to make purchase other than purchase made eartlier it on must be on same date and after purchase One lokin ID will be generated than I finalised the Philips Home Theatre and payment was made through Credit Card at date & time[protected].44 PM amounting Rs. 7598
Now today another Your executuve called me and says same things as on date 2-6-2010, than after I called to customer care and ask {Mr. Arunbhai} about the matter of prize, they refused and said that there is nor sure prize for anyone.
Now I am saying that why Indiatoday Bookclub executves make fraud with customer, giving offer for sure prizes, and purchase products?. Now I want to cancel my both order, what I have to do. and want to take legal action, any one can Guide me?
The day before yesterday I received call from ITBC that I win the prize of 2lac Gold Box & to receive that I have to purchase above 17000 product to save TAX which i have to pay against my Gift worth Rs. 2Lac. I don't know how much its true but waiting for response.

I received a call from Mobile Number[protected] saying that he is a India today senior officer, named Diwan Kapoor asking me to pay Rs 19, 999 through credit card because iam selected for the India today finale.and announce one among the 7 final contestants assured for lakhs of rupees
. but when i enquired the sweepstakes people they said it is fake and not so. i was shocked . thank god i said i had deficit bank balance i will pay amount tomorrow. 20, 000 is not a small amount . but to confirm this fake message i rang up to customer care which was giving numbers it was going like a chain. higher authorities take note of it and take action please.
