[Resolved]  Indian Bank — Slaped on not given bribe

I have opened an accouned in J-13/11.PATEL MARKET RAJOURI GARDEN NEW DELHI of Indian bank accout no[protected] on 18/5/2009 and I was told by the officer sitting on the counter that I will be given checque book and passbook by him after 2 days . but I have wisited him lot of time he do not give me any satisfactory answer.
On 1/6/09 he demanded rs 500 to issue the both matter was reported to the bank manager. Bank manager imediately issued me a passbook and asked me to came on 03/Jun/2009 to collect checque book and replied " I will definately take action against my staff I reached the bank I suerprised bank manager was not there and that person he simply slaped me on asking me about my checque book.

Cheque book for an ordinary SB account will be given only after satisfactory operation in the account. I don't believe that the officer slaped you just because you didnt give bribe.
